What about Cahill?
Give over, you'll never get him to talk about that.
Some rubbish about the parties having only met once and the fixture congestion meaning negotiations haven't been too lively, not like Chelsea can afford these planes and trains really is it..apparently Gary will play against Everton too..

Foolish to play Cahill against Everton, what if he gets injured? Kiss goodbye to 7M?

Why risk it?

Unless of course Cahill's agents are just keen for him to go on a free for the wonga effect and are buggering Chelsea about....

if we (as reported) have accepted the £7mill offer - then surely the rest of it isn't down to us at all but down to Cahill's representatives and chelsea?

True but it's up to us whether or not to play him. I can imagine those discussions would be affected somewhat if our Gaz exits Goodison on a stretcher.

Whatever people think of his alleged lack of enthusiasm, the team needs him... but the club needs his transfer fee more.

Short of a broken leg, he'll still sign for them.

yeah - but it would be incredibly unlucky for one of our players to break a leg - I mean, what are the chances of that??

oh...

The rules were posted here, somewhere.

They were as clear as very muddy mud, disguised as mud, sitting in a pool of mud, whilst covered in mud, however.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Ahem.

Mind, I still can't find confirmation that the same rules apply to the current season.

Does the same rule apply if we've released the said player back to his host club?
