Re: Onwards and Upwards Everton vs Bolton (Match thread)
Just can't see anything positive out of tomorrow night's encounter. We will line up in a 4-4-2 with Klasnic and Davies up front and get stOmped with a 3-0 score line. "piss up it's tits" will be the last thing we hear exiting the grou d.

the super-human al-habsi seems to have shipped another 4 tonight... one from 30yds and one from 20yds... just saying....
Re: Onwards and Upwards Everton vs Bolton (Match thread)
other results have gone our way this year - win this one and we'll be peering out of the relegation abyss seeing daylight above us rather than being slumped at the bottom of it....

...and with the knowledge that only us of the bottom six has the capacity- the real "we used to be a top six side" capacity- to pull ourselves out of the mire.

Nooooooooooooooo !!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Out of the games I've watched this season, we've only won 1 (the Stoke game). Perhaps it's a good omen that it's too early to wake up for lol.

Lose this and we're down. I'm certain.

I'd be tempted to go:
Bogdan
Steinsson Cahill Knight Ricketts
Eagles NRC Mavis Muamba Petrov
Ngog
With MD given instruction to push on a bit.

Probably our best option on paper, but we won't score with that line up.

Oh without a doubt, but each and every defender and our goalkeeper are worth at least a fvck up per game. I hope we don't get punished for them if we're sacrificing any chance of goals.

Re: Onwards and Upwards Everton vs Bolton (Match thread)
There are so many reasons and memories to make beating Everton a fervent wish:
Everton itself, the brainless oafs at the club who issue tickets right behind concrete pillars so you can't see feck all, the thuggish fans trying to ambush our lot outside the ground regardless of women and kids, car-scratching, kid protection rackets on car-minding.
On the pitch: Alan Stubbs blatantly shoving two players aside to let them score with a free kick and win, that goal/no-goal that sent us down, oh, and Duncan Ferguson.
Happiest abiding memory off the field is of an ugly Scouse git being grabbed by the hair and twxtted against a wall by the arse-end of a very large police horse.
A must-not-lose in every way you can think of.

I will wake up at 3:50 am and see the lineup, if robbo, skd and pratley (even on bench) then i am going to sleep.

We haven't got enough players for them to not even make the bench.
