Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

You want those aisles all for yourself, do you General ?? :wink2:
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Haha. Tbh, I did like it. There was a great atmosphere in the place and it was really rocking. But he'll fire some of the dancers are incredible, as in FIT!! And they're constantly flashing their keks! Tremendous. Seriously tho, to my untrained eye - a brilliant production.

Went and saw Grandmaster Flash Tonight.

Got to 2AM and I was wondering 'when's he bloody gonna start?'

I didn't realise he was playing since we went in, I didn't realise it was him until he left! (He came out for one more track)

It was a DJ Set! (the whole show!)

I saw Gza years ago, I think he must be the one that likes to tour.

Best hiphop gig you've been to?

Awesome.

He is touring the UK soon!

I spose it was the best Hip Hop Gig I went to.
Wu-tang last year was great, But GZA was better!

At the end I Got the Cover of Beneath the Surface signed, he signed the back. a Bit later I got him to sign the front! (it was a bit not that to my liking though, he must have been tired from signing heaps of other peoples shoes and Licenses!) I had Liquid Swords cover with me as well but didn't get it signed.

Then Before I left I made sure he heard me say thanks and see ya, giving him a thumbs up. I am glad I did :D

Because the gig was so packed everyone but him played an encore tonight/last night (the next night) for free, I was at the place to see Grandmaster Flash (not in the main bar but in the Gershwin room) but didn't see any.

Rahzel was billed to play but his Mother passed away, so he had to go back to the States.

A great gig! but no Merchandise though!

Tonight? After this week at work? In this weather? Lounge Lizard suit back on, fire stoked, dozy spaniel by feet, brew and malt loaf to hand. Carlsberg don't do Friday nights, but if they ever do.......................... i hope they're better than the pish they call lager.

Octagon yesterday evening for Bill Naughton's Alfie.

Enjoyed this one very much. Very funny play, lots of humour and then, of course, the tragedy. David Ricardo-Pearce (Alfie) is on stage for the whole two hour show and is constantly delivering his lines. Never once stumbled. Excellent performance by the whole cast and him in particular and highly recommended.

And a full house too!

Looking forward to this myself... missed the press night, for once - too much elsewhere in my life - but glad to read this... :D

Just got back from this, the Ice Station Zebra nickname is very apt isnt it! Absolutely frozen.

Well, we sat in the Chesterfield end pretty much right at the front in the corner next to the barrier between the home and away fans... which was promptly trashed by Oldham fans after Chesterfield scored late on and for a few moments with Oldham fans outnumbering stewards by at least 2 to 1 and piling through towards us it looked like turning very ugly! But then they just stopped and stood there acting like they were being held back by an invisible force, as did the Chesterfield fans. A close shave!

Game was alright too; Oldham hit the post and had a load of chances but Jack Lester scrambled in a winner in front of us with only a few minutes left and Chesterfield are off to Wembley.

New York Met Opera live - in cineworld in the Valley.

Wagner's Gotterdammerung.

Started at 5.00 (Had to leave the reebok at 4.25) and finished at 10.45.

Nearly six hours of outstanding singing, gorgeous music, brilliant staging by one of the world's finest opera companies. For £12 for a live performance.

Sublime. Just wonderful. Two intervals. Took sandwiches, fruit, cake and a little red wine. (Spanish red, very nice).

The next is in a fortnight's time - Verdi's Ernani. have never seen. but like Verdi very much. Can't wait... :D :D :D
