Utter cobblers, but would be an upgrade on both those we have. Not least because there's no reason Wolves would sell him.

Firstly and foremostly, Berra is shit.

As for yon mon playing probing passes for folk not there, it's like Youri all over again! Next stop Europe! Survive last day of next season through a Muamba 30-yarder and a rubbish Eagles free-kick. Fact. We'll be fine this, and Arsenal will win it.

Did Mauro Zarate keep Birmingham up? I honestly can't remember.

So we aren't taking a punt on a player because potentially if we get in the thick of the relegation dogfight he won't keep us up? Wilshere anyone?

Iturbe's video showed a lot of running past people and then either getting fouled or shooting wide / high. He did score twice. Doesn't that sound exactly like Mark Davies?

It does indeed and I'd hate to be the one to slag off players before we've even signed them on loan or otherwise but again I will refer you to Wilshere who scored 1 goal for us in his 16 games. I would hazard a guess that you don't think he 'didn't contribute enough'?

the BeN is suggesting we have already moved on to other targets - and have given up on Hoilett and Iturbe...

it also says Boyata is staying...

Since when did I get to decide who we do or don't sign, and why has no-one mentioned it before?

I was just making a lazy comparison between two players of similar age and nationality. Zarate was actually pretty good for Brum IIRC.

Wasn't saying you did Tom plus hard to detect tone of post on computer, I thought you were suggesting that getting some fleet footed 'new Messi' type wasn't going to keep us up
