I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it got hijacked by Spurs or Utd. Most people who "could know" on Twitter, ie. journos still reckon it's on course to be done tonight or tomorrow. Starting to think Gary himself may have refused our move, but still maybe hoping for a move to a North West club this window

It's not his twitter feed he wants you to read, it's his article in the mirror that will be online around 11 tonight he wants folk to see.

To be fair to him he is a journalist and therefore needs folk to read his articles do that he can sell articles...

Nixon is like bang on with Bolton news isnt he? Surely if Cahill or we (chelsea) have pulled out of the deal, SSN would be all over it.

It's football transfers, how interesting can it be?

Either way just hope Cahill isnt hanging around to sit it out on a free...

Meaning we have no money to do anything with now and also lose any sort of a fee.

Put it this way, every other footie journo pretty much said you'd have signed him by this afternoon.....

Nixon only one who said it wasn't that straightforwards...

May be an irritant but he's an irritant who knows our manager and deals pretty well.

Hopefully just a hold up more than anything else...fingers crossed.

Well, if he isn't going then it'll be a bit of a turn up for the books. Any good free transfers at the moment available?
Pfffft.

If you're suggesting that he deliberately talks things up to get more folk reading his articles then I'm 100% in agreement......

Like you I doubt it will class as 'very strange'

Either way he's not signed there yet.....whole thing is a bit annoying really.

Maybe the strange bit is that he's asked for a couple of Greenhaulghs meat pies and the Chelsea board are stumped?
Pfffft.

Just seen him sat in Bem Brasil in town, maybe he's going to Corinthians instead!

Then I walked past Zola on Market Street!

Zola was in the crowd for Citeh vs Bin dippers. Cameras picked him up during the start of the commentary

I hope to God he didn't ask for Meat & Potato !!

He'll still be in there arguing with the sour faced, bee-chewing bugger behind the counter.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
