Just like we did last seas...oh.

Worst thing we ever did was to beat United at OT. That purple faced prick hasn't forgiven us for that and has made us pay over and over again with only the occasional blip.

Scholes'll return to form and get two, Rooney always scores against us, Berba will chip in and then you can perm any one from Nani, Alan Smith, Gary Birtles or Ray Wilkins to get another.

To beat United you have to be better than them from tomorrow afternoon to Monday morning when you see that the ink's dried on the paper.

They'er planning their cheats right now and are ready to go to any lengths to swindle clubs out of points.

That's what they do best.

Oh, yeah and they've got some good players too.

Bastards!
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

Times must be hard at OT, I've just had an email saying that tickets are avaiailable on the Stretford End for ONLY £45.00

This includes a free programme and entry into the Paul McGrath suite. That's that big tent they put up near the SE to you and me.

There was a time when you'd have to start queuing a week before kick off to get a ticket, even when they went to 70,000 capacity. Now it looks like you could turn up on the day.

Just read the M.E.N. and Ferguson's demanding 'a 400% increase in cheating, diving and intimidating the officials.' he's now nominating four players to race the length of the pitch at half time to shout abuse in the refs face as he walks from the half-way line to the dressing room.

'I hope the referee stays strong and targets Kevin Davies.' Ferguson told an army of shit-scared journalists.

'mon eh white men.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Don't forget the clock that deducts two minutes if they're winning 1-0 and adds on nine if they happen to be behind.

Well I'll be in the comfy seats just behind Sir Alex, advising him with my opinion as to the worth of his cheating bastards whilst picking bits of decapod crustacean from my teeth and batting off the breadcrumbs.

Stop me if I've told this before (all my stories are on a pretty quick rotation).

I was in The Cock (Worsley Whites) and at the table next to me sat Norman Whiteside, Bez and Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins.

The table was full of dimps of teh drugs and all three were just sat motionless staring at the floor. You can't put a price on a good time eh?

I'd love to see who called who for that day out?

'Norman, it's Bez out of The Happy Mondays - arryerallriiiiiiggghhhhhtt? I've just put the phone down on Alex, as soon as he's chucked a telly through his flat window he says he'll meet us in the Cock - no trainers. See ya in a bit.'

Taylor had that sitter of a header at 0-0 last year didn't he? .... and then they only scored off a goalkeeping mistake when our lads' heads were elsewhere.

Anyway at least tomorrow isn't the horror of facing a must-win game, even if it is this lot.

Getting excited. WIll be watching in the pub here in Amsterdam, wearing my Bolton scarf, surrounded by a hundred Irish Manc fans.

Will probably be thoroughly depressed by half-time, mind you.

Make sure you have asparagus for lunch beforehand.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Smalling, Jones and Anderson all doubtful apparently.

Doubtless a miraculous recovery for all three is on the cards.
