I'm usually one to give players a chance but come on let's be realistic here.

If this guy was good enough, he would have at least played some part in a top league earlier on in his career

I said this with Darren Pratley. If he was any good, he would have been a PL player much sooner than at 26.

I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see this signing being any good. Then again, looking at our current 'strikers', he can't really be any worse.

Thought you boys might want to see some additional tape on Le Toux. This video has all his goals during the last two seasons for the Union:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TW8qYSv2Xpc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The first half of the vid shows the same goals as the vid the mirror put up but the second half (starting at 1:25) has his goals from the most recent season. Best of luck!

Ok I take it all back. He has better movement, heading, pace, hold up play, shooting and general ability than any of our current fecking wankers put together. I'm getting angry at the thought of Klasnic from last night.

Or just refresh the Wikipedia page, then press the 'stop' button on your browser.

The Union are prepared to sell the 28-year-old French striker in a move that would allow Philadelphia to keep young attacker Danny Mwanga, around whom trade rumors have recently circulated. The move would also free the funds needed to replace the all-star Le Toux.
I tell you what .... let's look at Danny Mwanga then ! :conf:
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Hmmmm didn't see this one coming. Wouldn't bE surprised to see him flourish partnered with Tuncay. Both are intelligent, technical players with pace and great enginEs. Would be an ideal pairing to press the opposition high up the pitch. Interesting moves.

That was what I thought after watching those video's and reading the comments. Hard working, creates chances for other players and chips in with a few goals. A cheaper Elmander replacement?

If he could score goals like Elmo did at Wolves last season then we should be snatching Philadelphia's hands off.
Pfffft.

Looks good to me, think he is only going to cost us 1m so nothing lost.

Some belting goals in there, but the one circa 1minute is the best. A striker that actually wants to get on the end of a cross. Storming run to the back post.

I'd snap their hands off for him at £1m, absolute bargain. The Philly fans are GUTTED so it says a lot about the guy. Looks like he can take the work-horse role Elmander filled, and contribute goals. Seems to be a fox in the box type as well.

Want. Hopefully it's just a case of him passing a medical.
