I've started walking to work...2.4 miles takes about 30 mins on average (avec bag and occasionally suitcase). First thing to constitue "exercise" of more than the arm muscles in about 15 years.

Being of the "technology age", I'm trying to work out if I can do it online instead.

Well done Verbal. Did a bit of agility tonight at footy training. Short sprints forwards, backwards and sideways. Felt muscles in my legs i didnt know i had rinning backwards and sideways but they held up surprisingly well considering I did a hills session yesterday.

10km last night. Surprisingly good this morning. A steady session but hopefully get to an average of under 5:45 pkm next time.

Desperately need some new trainers though..

After saying I was feeling strong at the beginning of last week I am currently struggling.

Calf pain is getting worse and have had a sports massage to try and iron out the steel knots where my calf muscles used to be.

I also think I'm developing planter fasciitis as I keep getting a tearing sensation and pain in my right foot.

However, this is perfectly normal and just a sign of the things to come over the next few months. Once I get to the line on 22nd April I'll be fine. I hope.

Horrible isn't it? Felt like someone had clamped them earlier in the week. I'm sure you already but make sure you are stretching them loads, even on off days.

Keep going.

Wassup Hobo? Did some of your relatives get kicked off the development park?

In your world you seek to punish the workshy, the lazy, the benefit cheat and now the athlete?

I'm pretty sure you're against despots too so when you've finished your genocidal programme and take a moment to reflect..... make sure the bullet doesn't miss the roof of your mouth.

It's Hobo's thinking see, Gary. The dots are never joined up.

He'd punish those that exercise but not, presumably, those that lie on the sofa eating KFC by the bucket full.

Just humour him, as you might a simple child ;)

Didn't know I had to step it up a bit today. 2.5 miles in 25 minutes non-stop. Laura says I'm now officially a runner :D
