So its reasonable grounds to not be a set of maudlin c*nts for a few minutes then?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

It was all Liverpool's fault.

Hardly. They're giving us hope .... & hope is an awful thing.

Only been back an hour and we played fantastically, few defensive errors but NRC, Eagles and Mavies were pretty much unplayable today. Honourable mention goes to N'Gog who held the ball up superbly COYWM!!!!!!

NRC interview about Bellamy is worth it's weight in gold. Glad they have made this guy the Captain, as others have said as well Ricketts/Bogdan seems to have added some much needed dependability
Pfffft.

The "unplayable" England international, Steven Gerard, played out of the game and Carroll, 30mil?

Do any lip readers amoungst us know what was said between NRC and Bellamy or what the history is between them? Where they team mates at Wet Spam?

I liked Linekers "Shearer thinks your a prick as well, Bellamy" comment. Class!

No they weren't.

We were worth our win.

NRC for me as motm.

But an "in form" Liverpool would have had way too many chances...

Misery guts...

Seriously though, why is there always a huge "But" with Bolton fans when we win? Are you all incapable of basking in the moment?

I'm going to "bask in the moment" tomorrow. Stepson in Yankee land supports Green Bay Packers and Liverpool (he was born there). I'll delight in waving a big card with 3-1 on it in front of the pc screen on Skype.

Not incapable of basking in the moment. When we're assured of another season in the top flight, I'll bask away. Basking in another 3-1 win at Gigg Lane doesn't really appeal to me anymore.

Terrific today. I'm so glad this new formation is working, 4-4-2 is an outdated way of playing progressive football. Its oks to defend with but the way we played it we were so susceptible on the counter attack. At least now we have a plan B if our starting line up doesn't work.

Reo Coker was immense and my MOTM, I can rarely recall him giving the ball away. In fact the the whole midfield trio were superb. And aren't the fullbacks are vast improvement on the previous two incumbents? Even though both players aren't exceptional I'd take Ngog over Carroll any day, I'm just shocked they spent £35m on him.

Apparently the Bellamy/Reo-Coker thing came from Bellamy saying Reo-Coker was a "shit Kieron Dyer" a few years back, or something to that affect.

I'm confident (well, semi-confident) that this win coupled with returning players and new signings can see us push up the table. I think it's now absolutely crucial that we re-invest the rest of the Cahill money wisely and bring in players who can help to build momentum.

...Starting with Ream and Le Toux. Plus whatever big club underachieving youngster Coyle poaches this time round...

You may well not agree, but I'd stay with what we have till we're completely safe. Yes,we need new players, but right now isn't a time to be experimenting. If we can play with the commitment we showed today I'd leave it alone rather than see players who are trying dropped. Just a view.

Just got back. I don't really have any words. Happy.

I'd disagree with Tango though, competition for places in CB and upfront can only be a good thing. Whether it be from the kids (very pleased to see O'Halloran on the bench) or from signings.
