Just to throw another spanner in your already confused works. When I read the Coyle article saying that Ream had done even better than Sturridge, I took it to mean he had outperformed Sturridge in FITNESS tests, rather than SPRINTING or SPEED tests. Just my view, could be wrong...

That clip looks almost Cahillesque,steps up at the wrong time making a positional mistake manages to get back quick enough to look like a hero.Still if he has pace it's a massive plus.

Well, we have the raw-data reports from Coyle saying he's got the best stats of anyone he's had here in the past 2 years.

So, assuming that's true, he's a quick runner.

Oh & one piece of YouTube where he is, clearly, as fast as anything I've seen in a while.

We then have the comment of a fan from NYC who says he's slow.

So, whether he's slow of the mark in a football context we will have to see. But he can clearly shift.
