The nationwide winger would cost a lot more...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:You have to say, cynically, that sounds like us: try for a top-club tippy-tapper then get a winger from the Nationwide...

Surprised the possible interest by West Ham in Zat Knight hasn't caused more outrage on this site.

Clearly desperate to put himself in the shop window.
Dos santos seems a bit questionable to me. He looked very promising but for a young player you'd have thought he wouldnt have been happy drawing a wage and doing nowt at spurs for what must be about 3 years.I'd sooner see a hungry player from the championship.
Likewise Bougara, decent scoring record but why is he palying where he is at this stage of his career. At least with the american lads they generally have a real work and team ethic which might serve us better at present. And they're cheaper.

Phillips would cost more than £5m? Nah, then. Lad's got potential but...BWFC_Insane wrote:The nationwide winger would cost a lot more...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:You have to say, cynically, that sounds like us: try for a top-club tippy-tapper then get a winger from the Nationwide...

Would be a good move for KD.
Just saw brief highlights of the Guinea game. Decent header from Bangoura and a good run without a finish.Looks pacy, decent spring and touch. Didnt someone say that we're onlt likely to get him if Guinea go out.? They lost 1 0

not seen the Sunderland connection before... I guess this is a bit like the Nolan situation - it takes a while for other clubs to catch up with a player's fading reputation... none of us would describe KD as the answer to a club's firepower problem...
if we sign LeToux - and we maintain 4-5-1 - then KD is very unlikely to feature that much in the starting lineup... he isn't getting any younger - and I wouldn't be surprised if he reckoned he might as well take options when they are available rather than wait for a more uncertain summer (even though then he would be on a free..) - and I can't see Coyle standing in his way...
be nice to have a bidding war if he's gonna go...

Watched him a couple of weeks ago for Liverpool reserves against us. Tricky and skilful with a fair bit of pace. Would be no bad aquisition.Tals-biggest-fan wrote:I forgot where I read it but apparently we're also after Raheem Sterling on loan from liverpool.

That Zaha lad at Palace looked pretty good last night.
Re: CH's all singing all dancing transfer gossip thread on t
You're kidding?? He was dire, lots of pace, no idea where to run and nothing in the way of a decent final ball. And that was against Championship defenders.
