Tidy preview Pierre91, and thanks for submitting it. Should be a decent game but who'll play is a bit in the dark right now. We just signed an American and hope he's anywhere near as good as the still injured Holden. Best of luck and may the best team (us) win.

Re: FA Cup 4th Round: BWFC v Swansea
...thank you. If our Club can emulate your path since getting into this Division we'll be both proud and more than satisfied. Looking forward to a decent match-up, but, from a different perspective. And, when we come to you in April, I'm hoping we'll have hit that 40pt mark (both).
I'll be there this weekend so we'll get to see the outcome of the Cup tie. We're just loving being around and hope to stay here for a while.
Be really pleased if you'd read read my match report next week, Mon/Tues. I promise it'll be fair, and will post a link.

Excellent, knowledgeable and balanced preview, Pierre.

Mine will be up on the 'front page' here by Sunday...

2 questions for you pal;
1) Your starting XI looks without a doubt strong enough to hold their own in the top flight (as ourselves and arsenal well know!) but how good are some of the more fringe players? i.e the team you think will start against ourselves;
2) What is up with Darren Pratley! Has he made a poor start or is this as good as it gets? (in case you haven't seen him play for the wanderers, he's been shite)

... & in case you aren't sure what what means ... shite as in "as poor a player as I've seen on our pitch" & I've seen quite a few.wanderers_on_tour wrote:2) What is up with Darren Pratley! I wouldn't be convinced he's not been abducted by aliens and replaced by one who had 14 limbs, none of which are legs.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

....gents.In reply,
1) Our fringe players are decent,capable footballers all, but the issue remains for us a lack of PL appearances. Our first choice XI, as you say, is strong enough. This weekend, the feeling is that Tremmel will keep goal if BR thinks Vorm is due a rest and to keep his hand in.Competent,not spectacular. Alan Tate, recovering from a bone break, may well come in at the back. Similarly, Gary Monk at CB for Caulker.
McEachran may get a run, too, and you know he's a class act.Finally, maybe Lita for Graham(who has been excellent all year).
My fear is if you go strong, it may be too much for any heavily "alternative" side we put out. We'll see.
As far as Prats goes, he was a really committed player for us but he was always a runner, rather than creator. He tailed off when he turned down a new contract and opted to come to yourselves. I believe both Holden and Lee are a long way in front of him when they're both fit and with your other options I'd be surprised if he gets in front of Davis, Reo-Coker etc.. I don't see him as more than squad depth, honestly.
Looking for a good game and thanks for your replies and comments. See you Saturday.

Sean Davis? he's finished?
If you mean Mark Davies I'd agree...I'm led to believe he is a forward playing midfielder in a central 3. I'd pick Mark Davies and Tuncay there first.

I put that caution in as I've not seen it anywhere other than the Swansea site (I know !

But it's what I'm doing so if they aren't P.O.S. I'll join you over at Brannigans while it's on & I'll buy the first round.

This is what they did last week; the Macc site said they were pay ont door but our website didn't mention it.bobo the clown wrote:"apparently" yes.P.O.S. wrote:Can you pay on the gate for this clash? I ask on here and boltonboris somehow finds the link on our site and I look stupid.
