Strikes me as a Coyle type signing, young quick good on the ball. Playing for Rennes so you'd think gettable.
Studied his last performance for t'day job. Third one down here.
[in that opening match] Nobody attempted more take-ons (seven, with three completed) and, perhaps not uncoincidentally, nobody suffered more fouls (seven) – but only attempted one cross (uncompleted), didn't create any chances and was outpassed by 11 players, including six of his own team-mates.
Is Alain Traore playing for Burkina Faso? He was their best player last time... plays for Auxerre.

The nationwide winger would cost a lot more...
(Matt) Phillips would cost more than £5m? Nah, then. Lad's got potential but...
Yep apparently so. And that is why according to our favourite twitterer come journalist it won't be happening!
Yesterday's BeN says Phillips would cost half that much... but we're still not buying. Our interest has 'cooled', like a windowsilled apple pie.

Gee, DSB, either, just how old are you or do you live in a very remote area?

Thought you'd like that :D
Internet appears to be saying both. The Wikipedia entry for the place I live says "it is often described as 'leafy'", and the targeted ads alongside my Facebook page think I'm a middle-aged man... :?

Well indeed. Though Nixon reckons Blackpool don't need to sell so would have taken far in excess of that fee to get him, and he's not worth it!

Anyways, we're now apparently chasing two "top" mystery targets.

No doubt a lot of excitement will be built up with Nixon saying "Bolton are moving like lighning on these" "really exciting players" blah blah to "you are waiting on answers on them both" to "it will only take one call for it to happen" to "ah well they weren't that good anyways, you're now looking at alternatives"....

£3.2mill - that's a very specific rumour!

Hmm...intriguing. Could be a very useful signing indeed if true...

and WOULD be a relegation-threatened club selling a potentially helpful player to a rival relegation-threatened club... (not like - as DSB points out - us selling KD to Blunderland)

why would they do that?

However, the Oracle has vehemently denied it. Says that we're "battering the feck out of the final doors" on two signings, one of whom is apparently a "bigger fish" than Bangoura.

Come come Keveh, source?

Wigan want £6million for contract rebel Hugo Rodallega - with QPR trying to agree a price within 24 hours.

(daily mirror)

Keveh's twitter rumour was from a certain Mr James Rowe...

Rodallega is out of contract at season end so he will be sold one way or another to the highest bidder.. Wigan are chasing Nicky Maynard but won't go in until rody is sold.

Bristol city or whoever owns Maynard said permission was given to speak to the player but Wigan denied it saying they had only made an enquiry.

Wigan need to use there brain before rody is sold and agree a fee for Maynard otherwise his fee might magically increase when the fee is announced from the sale of Rodallega.
