Just to keep you all updated. Tim has been very ill this week. He's in hospital. Evert Pater has updated me on his condition today. Tim was very dehydrated but his hydration and temperature are now back to normal. However his heart is giving cause for concern and he is very tired.

I'm sure that all your thoughts are with our fellow Dutch Wanderer at this time. I'll update as I hear any news.

Distressing news Zulu. Best wishes to the lad and a hope and prayer that he pulls through okay. Life can be very cruel at times.

Thanks for the update Zulu. Just a thought, is there anything we could send as a TW momento with a get well message from the forum? A TW T-shirt perhaps (if there are any left)? I'll pay for it incl p&p

Good luck to Tim. I think Canada may be the only country in the world that allows Idebenone to be used as a treatment for Friedrich's ataxia, but it is still experimental. Terrible affliction to have. I didn't see any follow up but hope he was there for the Stoke game.

I'm sure Keveh could rustle up something and if any creative whizzkids on here could create a TW card with an appropriate message inside we could ask Zulu to forward it on. I'm sure it'll be received in the right way.

He's got a link to this thread. I think he sees it. I'm in touch with him and his friend Evert via twitter so I am able to forward stuff if you want me to to. Be glad to do so.

He did go to the Stoke game Monty. Tony Kelly sorted his tickets out and met him and Colin McGreavey gave him a mention on the day. He enjoyed every minute of it, he said.

Hi

Thank you for all your best wishes for Tim.
Tim and his father asked me to thank you all.
Tim is still in hospital, he is dehydrated and his heart rate is to fast.
So he is very tired at the moment.
We hope to come back this year for a match at the Reebok.
Tim had the greatest time ever he told me.
Tony Kelly is a loving man, he made Tim's day very special.
His dream really came true!
Tony asked us to come back this year, then Tim can visit and meet the players as well.
Tim is looking very much forward to this, and so am I.
Tim is a very special young man, with a big heart for bwfc.
He also made me a huge Bolton fan, even my girlfriend now loves football and became a huge Bolton fan because of Tim.
He made a lot of people surrounding him Bolton fans. We are following every game with online streaming.
Tim is bwfc's greatest fan in Holland, he knows everything about any Bolton Wanderers players.
I hope all this nice support from all of you helps Tim to get well soon, and that we can visit the Reebok with Tim in better health this year.

If you want to sent Tim something personal, He would love that. Then this is his home address:

Tim Grootkarzijn

His email is:

Again Thank you for all your loving wishes, support and prayers.
I will keep you all informed.

Regards,

Evert.

I've just deleted Tim's email address and home address from the previous post. You never know who might be snooping around. However, if any member wants to contact Tim, either by post or email please contact me via PM and I will forward the details.

Thanks
