So we are still in talks with Palace and our offer is the only one on the table at the moment, i think 5m is a fair price for him.

I was totally lost in this tunnel when suddenly I saw a small light at the end. I walked towards it thankfully, and found a bloke with a torch coming my way. He was lost too. Give it a chance man, the fat lady's still gargling.tell ben im him wrote:Well we wont get him or anyone decent at all now, had nearly a month and still fooking about its laughable. The Tim Ream deal has taken up the majority of the month, that needed to be done first. I'm still hoping owen can bring a couple more players in at least before tue night, we have money to spend but we need the right players in who want to play for Bolton Wanderers and that are going to improve the first team.
For those who havent seen Zaha play here is a short clip http://youtu.be/Sxyfw8XR6T4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Young lad? He's 28 this year! And also being talked about in £15m terms

£5m for one of the Football League's most able players, and one who has just signed a new five-year contract at that.
Aye.

but let me get this straight... he's a striker who has played for England Teens...Verbal wrote:£5m for one of the Football League's most able players, and one who has just signed a new five-year contract at that.
Aye.
but this is all still "potential" - he has only scored 6 league goals in 66 appearances - at Palace level..
am I missing something??

Whenever I've seen him play he has been in midfield and not up top.

Yeah that qualifies as young lad.

Re: CH's all singing all dancing transfer gossip thread on t
Have you thought about this,
Coyle is taking a risk on young players as their wages will be cheaper and we have the chance of making a profit should the player become a decent signing. Should the player be good enough to keep us in the league in the future then money well spent.
Its not just they're Shit or Superb.

Hand on, I thought Nixon was Coyle's best buddy and had inside information on all Bolton's dealings?
But the Wanderers boss has poured cold water on speculation that he is about to reignite interest in Guniea international striker Ismael Bangoura, who is currently on duty at the African Cup of Nations.
“There was an interest in August in Ismael Bangoura, who was playing in Dubai at the time, but nothing came of it,” he said.
“Maybe that’s where it has come from, some old quotes being regurgitated. There won’t be anything pursued on that front.”

By the time you enter negotiation, you've pretty much got past the beauty parade already.
