Re: Arsenal on Wednesday
How many goals has Henry scored against Bolton during his career? I can only remember a couple or so but if he is half as good as you believe I'm sure it's a lot lot more than that, just can't recall.Gooner Girl wrote:Just a reminder in case you all HAVE forgotten

That's even worse! If he's seen (as I have now) how could he not deem it a punishable offence? Or is it because it's Mr flavour of the month against some clogger from a lesser club?Annoyed Grunt wrote:Not getting charged. Ref said he saw it but decided against taking any action. Apparently his elbow yesterday is being looked at by the FA disciplinary panel. I haven't seen it yet, but I believe it was pretty nasty.
Not sure how long these things take, but if they appeal any guilty verdict, then he'll be able to play (but at the expense of a possible extra game ban) on Wednesday
Tell you one thing. If Wheater does the exact same challenge to Van Persie tomorrow night. He's walking

Sky Sports news bar says Jussi & Mears "may step up from the bench". Any Coyle-quote evidence, or is that a guess?

Can't see it. I think that's just guesswork as they're both available. I think it'll be the same side from the last couple of league outings. Barring injuries (where was Steinsson on Saturday? Rested?)

Re: Arsenal on Wednesday
Hope so. Good to get Riley experience but the defence has improved with Steinsson (and Ricketts, and before him Alonso).

Agreed, would be silly to change.
Although Tim Ream could be pushing for a start?

Wheater > RVPGooner Girl wrote:seanworth, you're right! I had to search quite hard on YouTube to find that! Reckon he only scored a couple against you. Anyway it's not Henry our goals will come from I don't expect, he'll probably be on the bench most of the game. The only person who regularly scores for us as you know is RVP. Find a way of nullifying him and the games in the bag for you lot.

May the bridges I burn light your way

That and a new contract for KD and the regression is quick and complete.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Sky Sports news bar says Jussi & Mears "may step up from the bench". Any Coyle-quote evidence, or is that a guess?

Now I might think this is Noddy in Toyland, but you do NOT get a work permit while having passport issues. Unless he's now decided he has a couple of French ancestors born in Bogata of Irish. Welsh immigrants. Something not quite right about that statement.

The passport issue might be something simple like he needs a new one because he's been given a three year work permit but his passport say only has a year left to run.Gravedigger wrote:'Back in the USA sorting out passport issues.'ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Agreed, would be silly to change.

I dunno like, but I'd expect UK immigration to demand that a person's passport fully covers the time they're expected to be here. Red tape and all that.

Re: Arsenal on Wednesday
it may take you a while to get used to this - but it's pretty ineffective to come here saying you're better than us - it doesn't hurt - it doesn't even raise any hackles of disagreement... I see your Arsenal 3-0 and raise you 5-0....ferrarif50hunt wrote:I fancy us to beat you lot comfortably. You've been absolutely rubbish at home this season, and we have Sagna, Arteta, Coquelin and possibly Gibbs all returning from injuries. Can't see anything other than an Arsenal win. 3-0.

At least if Van Persie fancies elbowing Wheater in the chin, he's plenty to aim at...boltonboris wrote:That's even worse! If he's seen (as I have now) how could he not deem it a punishable offence?
