Is it just me that finds that an odd statement? Japanese isn't based on the French language is it?boltonboris wrote:I'm fine by the way.. I didn't take Japanese as a GCSE as I didn't get a good enough grade at 3rd year French.. So go easy on me!The Axman wrote:He shoots. He scoresboltonboris wrote:feck off! that's all I know...

They're normally measurements taken in games and so aren't from a standing start. I'd not be that shocked if Walcott was sub 11 seconds. The Pope wrote:Yeah, I'm not saying it's impossible he's that quick, but a lot of the times quoted for footballers seem to just be plucked out of thin air. Ryo hardly has the build of a 100m sprinter either.David Lee's Hair wrote:10.9 isn't that quick all things considered... wouldn't have won the UK Schools title with that time last year... he'd probably make the GB team for the Olympics this year but that's a whole new ball game...The Pope wrote:You always have to take these outlandish 100m times for footballers with a pinch of salt. I remember when everyone was claiming Walcott could run it in 10.2 or something, which I'm almost certain he can't.
Apparently C-Ron is sub 11 from a standing start.

Our School was one of those Language college thingies. Anyhow, when they introduced Japanese as a GCSE option. To apply, you had to show a proficiency in other languages.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Is it just me that finds that an odd statement? I didn't pay any attention in French and I never did German or Spanish.

I've heard rumours that Robinson is sub-60. I'll believe it when I see it though.Prufrock wrote:They're normally measurements taken in games and so aren't from a standing start. He looks nippy enough shrugged of a few challenges so not that lightweight .Pity there's no pace anywhere else in the team I can see him running the entire length of the pitch then having a fag and a coffee waiting for the rest to catch up.

I learned more about English by studying Spanish than I ever did using it. Here, we just take it all for granted. We're probably the laziest nation in the world on languages.boltonboris wrote:Apparently, my "language was atrocious" Fvckin cvnts can fvck right off

He's actually 27. That's what eating raw fish does for you.Sponge wrote:He looks about 12, bless him.

Ryo said, so lots of places including FourFourTwo wrote:Arsene Wenger wished me luck and told me to enjoy myself when I get the chance to play. Jack Wilshere said I would become a better player by playing here. I saw what Jack did here two years ago. Of course, I want to be like him and play well for Bolton. My style is to dribble with the ball so I'm excited to come here. I think it will be different (from London). My first impressions are that it is a bit colder in Bolton.
