I think something we've all forgotten is that when we signed him, he was ready to hang his boots up, as he'd fallen out with football. Do we really think that he'd be happy to move on, to play at a lower standard, when he can simply play out his contract, getting a good wage and then hang up his boots at the end of the season and get plauded for his efforts over the years? He's going nowhere.

Im going to keep my feelings about us getting together a really decent Championship level squad with some players that would be real dangermen in that division and even a couple of players who could become heroic talismen for us down there largely to myself, because we might just somehow escape the mire and stay up - but in a strange way, I'm quite excited and optimistic!
