Today I'm happy about......

Re: Today I'm happy about......
I seem to remember a guy in the 80's riding round Bolton on a trike, pulling a coffin trailer in which he kept his camping gear. Fair play to him, he also wore a mexican poncho and no shoes. Now that's hard core in January.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

While waiting to use the boogie board today I successfully body-surfed!
Went quite far too!
It was fun.
Also saw a footy commentator stand up with paddle surfing!
Thought it just looked like him until his Son said something to him and when he replied I recognized his voice!
I should of said something to him, like congratulating him on his good waves!

For a long time, they've been the cause of untold misery. Right now, however, I am thankful, and I hope to remain so for a whilemalcd1 wrote:That time of year again TW?truewhite15 wrote:Women.

Nope. Citeh. Though not avid. I'm hoping I might get opportunities to make her see the bright White light...Gooner Girl wrote:Good to hear. Hmmm, sorting one problem has highlighted another. Now that the loft is not benefiting from the heat that previously rose its like an ice box up there and I've just found that there's a problem with damp. In particular I had a bag of camera equipment up there including my second body, a Nikon D2X, and my travel lens - together worth about £1200. Both appear to have condensation on the inside. Hope I've caught it in time but I'm not hopeful - and no longer 'happy'.clapton is god wrote:Spent a couple of hours insulating the loft this morning so going to be warm and cozy and save thousands on my fuel bills this winter!
Special offer on top-up space blanket type insulation at B&Q where it's just £6 for a monster roll of the stuff. Full loft took just five rolls and its now almost a foot deep with it.

I belong to a ship modelling site that has thousands of members from all over the world. Couple of days ago I got a pm from a model supplies company in the Ukraine. They wanted to use pics of my three completed models on their site. There are aboslutely loads of top modellers who, in all fairness, are far more skilled than I am, on our site, so I was amazed but said yes. Got a pm of thanks today and they're up there. Just a bit chuffed.

Did you install your insulation without a vapour barrier??? In damp old England? I think you might be wise to uninstall and start over.clapton is god wrote:Hmmm, sorting one problem has highlighted another. I've got the morning off to crack on with a report where at the moment I'm just typing things I don't understand, and probably never will. Hence my concentration has wandered and I found myself hereAnnoyed Grunt wrote:Not exactly happy...but off work looking after an ill son.
