So... OC plays Ngog up front against DMBs. Bolton lose 3v0.
Next up, first of three wins, Macc in cup. SKD & Klasnic up front (Ngog subs Klasnic after 60 mins). Win 2v0 SKD & Petrov score.
Then, Liverpool (in their own inimitable style) gift us a win 3v1 [Yes, I know, I can hear the criticism. Why am I saying Liverpool lost it not Bolton won it] but anyway, Ngog up front, Mavis, NRC & Steinsson scores.
Then third win on trot, cup again. Swansea. Ngog up front Bolton win 2v1 with Pratley & Eagles the scorers.

This tells me that OC has decided (in league games) Ngog is first choice as striker and Klasnic is at best a sub.
It also tells me what I already know: Ngog isn't prolific. He's spent 300 minutes on the pitch in the last 4 matches and hasn't scored a goal.
Let's hope that Mavis, NRC, Steinsson, Pratley, Eagles, and Et Al are up to the job because here's a prediction, whatever the final scoreline Bolton v Arsenal, Ngog will start and will not score.
No Axelman Ngog is not prolific but there's a damn site more movement up front to occupy the opposing defence and create openings for the rest of the team? Klasnic is a fantastic sub to bring on to win a game in a stalemate situation, but movement and a bit of pace are what's been needed at BWFC for quite a while

I think we'll get a result, a draw, but I've got this sickening feeling that Arsenal will get a penalty

I hate it when teams nick it 8-0.

Is Alonso anywhere near a comeback (again)?

CANNOT WAIT for this one—my housemate is an (Irish) Arsenal fan. I was utterly undignified in victory when Cohen scored the winner at the end last season, and hope to be able to repeat that performance tonight.

Would be nice to get a full house for this one after the Liverpool game! Can't beat a cold midweek night at the Bok!

Probably be a few gloves on display at the Bok tonight, and that's only on the field. Brass monkeys today, even in Farnworth..

Presumably Riley or Steinsson with the other one on the right.
