Ferdinand was after...Evra is Captain, so was first up.thebish wrote:did ferdinand's refusal come before or after suarez's rejection? In my eyes that would make a difference - though - they'd still all be utter cocks (obviously!)Bruce Rioja wrote:Ferdinand refused Suarez's hand.
Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
On what fecking planet is Suarez refusing Evra's hand?! The other way round I could understand, if think a bit childish. Are all Uruguayans massive cnuts, or just him?

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
ahh - OK - in which case, perfectly understandable from the duck-faced cock, and utter cockish twattery from Suarez - and - note of credit to Evra (who, himself, is also a cock!) for at least trying to be the bigger man...Athers wrote:After, Evra is the captain and was the first United player the scousers were shaking hands with.thebish wrote:did ferdinand's refusal come before or after suarez's rejection? In south America not shaking someone's hand is considered affectionate.Prufrock wrote:On what fecking planet is Suarez refusing Evra's hand?! The other way round I could understand, if think a bit childish. Are all Uruguayans massive cnuts, or just him?

Nice.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
to me - it looks like Reina shoving Evra and the official trying to stop him.
is shoving allowed in the RESPECT mr-shaky-handy lineup??

To me Reina's shove is a 'get on with it' gesture as he shakes Evra's hand. Suarez shows what a bellend he he really is.thebish wrote:to me - it looks like Reina shoving Evra and the official trying to stop him.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
The whole saga has been embarrassing for Liverpool. Can't believe how poorly Daglish has come across in this too.
Just read they banned some fanzines outside the ground, I thought the description of the picture was quite funny and normal fanzine material imv.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
Daglish is in my opinion largely to blame for this mess. It is one thing to support your players, but the way he has handled this from the onset has been very poor and probably the main reason the matter still hasn't been put to rest. He must know that Suarez in an immature, spoilt, racist silly little nice person who happens to have a lot of talent as a player. A handshake would have put this all to rest but Daggy remained consistant, continuing on how Suarez has been hard done by, and shouldn't have been suspended. After the game he claimed that he didn't even know a handshake had not taken place and tried to put all the blame on the media. Don't recall much reaction when the other players in the side donned shirts in support of Suarez earlier either. Dagg's mishandling of this matter has allowed it to blow up way beyond proportions. I agree that maybe it is time for Liverpool to sell their prized asset, but Henry should also be wondering how in hell Daglish become such an icon in Liverpool. Let's face it, when Evra can outclass you something is seriously amiss.lovethesmellofnapalm wrote:i can believe it quite easilyDr.Karl wrote:The whole saga has been embarrassing for Liverpool. So in their view, despite what is utterly clear, it's Evra who refused to shake Suarez's (diving like Tom Daley on acid again today, btw) hand... right down to a still picture times to the second using the angle so making it look like that.
And anyone who denies that is either part of, or fooled by a media con trick.
That is one despicable city. No wonder it's a shit heap full of deluded bastards who think they are hard done to.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
