I am so fckg angry at this. I've believed in him, I've wanted it for him & I thought he'd changed it around ... but today has me right back to thinking he's a clueless twunk.

Yesterdays substitution just shows his inadequacies once again, trying for all 3 points, when a point away with a clean sheet would of been creditable. Muamba must be getting right royally pissed off with being subbed and then us loosing the game. We needed to consolidate yesterday, take a point and then beat the pie eaters at the weekend thus slowly and hopefully moving clear of the drop, but yet again we are back in the mire.

Whilst Coyle must shoulder some of the blame lets not forget that our forwards still could not make the breakthrough against a makeshift defence. I can understand why he felt he had to make the change but not the way in which it was made, if he wanted to keep his wide men on than Mavis was the obvious one to make way .

Very disappointing - exactly the same scenario as the Newcastle home game when he subbed Muamba for Eagles just at the time we were starting to look comfortable in the game, and we turn a minimum one point into zero. The problem we have is that not only do we not have two central midfielders capable of playing in a 4-4-2, we dont have strikers who are capable of taking any chances that system might create anyway....we are far better off grinding it out with 4-5-1 and freshening it up subbing like for like.

I'm really not looking forward to the teamsheet for the Wigan game. Fearing a mooless 4-4-2.

For me, and in agreement with most, three things were wrong in OC's thinking. One, Muamba should never have come off, and two, the striker should have been a straight swap, Davies or the new guy for N'gog who obviously wasn't having a day. The third thing was in everything going ariel, a lot of it out out of play or just banged back to waiting opposition. N'gog hardly ever got one ball to run at on goal. At least Davies started to win things in the air but we always needed to watch for the quick break from them and taking Muamba off just opened the door and said "come on in". Without him at the back we were never going to control their attacks. In opposition to most, I think we played better first half when we weren't chasing the ace. Patience,and keeping them out, was always okay. As soon as we went behind and needed to be strong in our own defence was hardly time to take off our best and most energetic tackler.

It's all okay in retrospect but OC really boobed grand style yesterday. Just hope he accepts it and has a re-think.

The trouble is TD, it wasn't in retrospect.

We all knew it. The stat's showed it. .... and it happened perfectly to script.

How Coyle was the only person not currently sectioned who couldn't anticipate it is what is beyond us all.

I've no idea where we go from here. 4-4-2 we dont have the right players for and we are by far the worst team in this league, 4-5-1 suits the squad and we are mid table material. It could not be more obvious - it has been obvious since August - only the person who is paid £1m per year to pick the team cant see it.
