You might just change that opinion when there's hailstone smacking you on the back of the head, Jimbo.

Aye, I spotted that too. Some fooker seems to have nicked the sides and whatever was in the corners.

Good comeback last night though.

Yeah, the cladding is a huge issue amongst some fans! It's going to be sorted in the next few weeks. It got delayed as part of the roof got damaged in the winds last month so it got put back. Don't mind the gap to be honest - was designed to give the impression of a halo like roof above the stadium, and it looks pretty impressive walking up to it at night lit up.

I'm astonished you would ever post on this thread, Raven. You'd better check the books - maybe the last page of each has been removed. You just can't trust those Canadian authors....

Today I'm happy about... my ancestors. :D
A distant relative (third cousin) has sent through some stuff about my great-great-uncles (my mother's father's father's brothers) and it turns out they were both professional footballers at the end of the century before last. 8)
Billy 'Buxton' Smith played for Manchester City (not so cool) in the 1890's
and Fred Smith played for Buxton, Macclesfield, Derby County and Southampton before the start of World War I.

No books are fine, just left the one with a library name stamped on it at the shop :)

Are all Canadian authors were as good as De Lint?

Nope - but they write better than what you do.

No, in fact I am generally considered a crashing boor. Actually I am not well-versed in SF authors generally anymore. I do like some Canadian authors but tend to prefer British. I hope the library was not that of McGill University.

Went to Chaddy tonight and decided to go to the ABC Shop in hope of clearance Doctor Whos

It paid off!

I found The Twin Dilemma, from what I've read an awful story but one I've been looking for ages for. It's Colin Bakers first story.
I put it on hold, it's only $10

Also put on hold the double boxset of The Rescue and The Romans for $20.

There were two copies of the 1996 TV Movie so I put one at the back of the shelf. hopefully somehow I have lots of money soon and can get it as well! ($15)

Congrats Boris, fantastic news for you both.

Well done on becoming a dad, too.
