I'd have been happy with 0-0. And I'm certainly not trying to suggest what may or may not have happened. Simply stating that from what I'd seen, I wouldn't have put a bet on us retaining 0-0 or winning, even had we kept as a 4-5-1.

Simply saying that I could fairly easily stretch my imagination as far as a Norwich win after the evidence of the first 60 mins, regardless. I thought we were fairly lucky to be at 0-0 after an hour.

He should start the next couple of games ahead of Petrov, IMO.

Once he'd leaned to pass to the white shirt instead of the blue, certainly gives us a bit more pace reminded me off Chungy. I thought him and Tuncay seemed to spark off each other. Don't know if he would last an entire game though, I can see him being used more as an impact sub last 20 minutes or so once the games already lost.

It was a local derby and that extra passion was needed, but that commitment was lacking and we've got to be honest with ourselves. Wigan showed more determination and made it very difficult for us. We're very disappointed. At Norwich, we let ourselves down and again in this one we let ourselves down big-time. I'm not going to sugar-coat it. Everyone has their opinions but we've let ourselves down. We've got to face reality and we're really in a relegation fight.

But we have got to be positive. I always shout week in week out, it’s about consistency. That is the key. We can’t get complacent. As much as you perform against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, it’s about the teams around us – and against teams in the relegation area we are going to have to produce an extra yard of performance. It seemed we were lacking that extra bit of grit against Wigan.
