Does that mean our Owen is tactically atheist?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Much more choice of new manager in summer than mid-season, as England will find out if they resist the temptation to anoint the tactically agnostic twitcher.

Monotheistic. Well, if we're taking the Greek prefixes seriously, tetrakis-tetrakis-dis-theistic.Prufrock wrote:Does that mean our Owen is tactically atheist?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Much more choice of new manager in summer than mid-season, as England will find out if they resist the temptation to anoint the tactically agnostic twitcher.

The flexibility of monotheism with the relevance of greek polytheism. Winning Eleven.

About bloody time too.
Not now I'm super-important. Leave me alone.

Even the ref is t'riffic. After being given so many chances himself, oc doesn't understand the concept of "punishment" for making mistakes.

Re: Owen Coyle
Owen's famously tea-total. I think he should start drinking.
Heavily.
Change his perspective on life. How can you go through life full of Tartrazine, E104, Sunset Yellow, Ammonium Ferric Citrate, MSG, and Potassium Permanganate? No wonder his brain doesn't work.
Get on the 'Buckie.

I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

So that's the measure then. Not whether you're any cop, whether you keep making mistakes, whether you should ever have been (over)promoted in the first place ... but whether you're polite and WANT to be good." I have always found him pleasant and well-mannered and he wants to be as good at his job as he possibly can."
A lot now falls into place.

Even I think this is a little harsh. I'm not sure what its got to do with Coyle, but giving him the benefit of the doubt assuming he's been asked in his press conference, he can hardly say "that Atwell is the worst ref ever, good riddance".....

except that should be covered by "he's a good lad & young & his time will come again" not "I can't understand the decision ... especially as he holds doors open for old people and always gives his seat up on the bus".BWFC_Insane wrote:Even I think this is a little harsh. Owen should have a go at Fighting Talk on Radio 5, he'd be a natural at the defend the indefensible round.

Kind of, but I think his point without being able to say it would be "look at that Webb/Clattenberg, he's shite like Atwell, deliberately biased AND a total c*nt.... yet is not relegated"bobo the clown wrote:except that should be covered by "he's a good lad & young & his time will come again" not "I can't understand the decision ... especially as he holds doors open for old people and always gives his seat up on the bus".BWFC_Insane wrote:Even I think this is a little harsh. Re: Owen Coyle
As has already been said, he can't exactly slate him. He's been asked and has issued a conservative response.
I'd rather refs think.. "that Bolton are alright", rather than, "That Bolton are shower of cvnts.. Slagging off a fellow ref"

Not as upsetting as talking about an 'amount of games'.Verbal wrote:footballburp wrote:Hope you don't mind, or that you consider us to be spamming, but it's been interesting to read your views on Coyle and we've aired some of your comments on our Embattled Manager of the Week feature, right here...

Good luck for the rest of the season. Losing Holden and Lee, and of course Cahill to Chelsea, seems pretty harsh.
All the best,

You've spelt meter wrong.
