Spurs, Liverpool, Sunderland, Everton will all think it's their year. Wouldn't fancy any of those to come out. Nor Chelsea particularly. Then we are left with Stoke probably or Leicester.

We had more than 20 consecutive seasons of not getting to a quarter final - a run broken by Rioch, i think, with the-game-we-should-never-have-lost against Oldham. I'm happy to be there again, but would be surprised if we went further... Maybe Crawley at home...

You only had to listen to Danny Baker yesterday morning to appreciate that Millwall were "well up" for yesterday's game. We went their and did all that was required and came away with a two-nil victory. That there are people on here that still feel that the players on show should've also found the time to plat piss underwater whilst they were at it is utterly breathtaking.

It's easy. We go balls out for cup glory - ergo, the club win summat that doesn't involve vans made in the Midlands, for the only time in my lifetime, and then, if we get relegated whilst doing it, then there's this bloke on the Isle of Man that's summat to do with kettle elements that'll pick up the tab.

not specially!! but I did read this whole thread on my return from oop North-East - and it seemed to me reasonably upbeat!! I certainly wasn't rendered breathless by the negativity!!

(maybe that's cos I am comparing it to last week!)

Was a bit of a crappy performance, good job they aren't a good side or else we would have been punished. Was a good win overall and great to keep a clean sheet, apart from a great double save from Boggers and the sliced over the bar from Steinsson there wasn't much to worry about.

Thought it was going to get a bit naughty on the train on the way there, was pretty calm with standard football banter between the two sets until some fat pissed Bolton fan barged his way onto the train into the middle of all the Millwall fans. They were very close to kicking off and it wasn't even them starting it.

Think Ream had a relatively steady debut but wasn't really tested so we'll see how he does against some decent opposition.... starting with Chelsea!

Aye, like I said, exaggerating. Was more a response to plenty folk saying how impressed they were with how well we played. Thought it was a standard don't play particularly well to a lower league team but do enough. Felt like we barely touched the ball after 20 mins. This against one of the shitter championship teams from our 'good football' manager.

Not complaining, we did enough, just didn't think we played 'well'. Not play well and win....good sign eh.
