He did so at Villa in the League Cup but I'm fairly sure Petrov, who has been present throughout this more recent 4-5-1 experiment, has mainly been on the left wing

Ryo's fairly two-footed so he can cut inside if that's the plan

No doubt we'll pack our 'Bad Runs Ended Here' banner with the team kit for the benefit of Sr. Torres.

I'm going to this one. It's a rip off but the only London Prem team I didn't manage to do last year since it was over Christmas and I was back home in Bolton. Might as well tick another stadium off the list...

I wouldn't mind us trying Petrov back in and Ryo on the right.

Wasn't that set on fire in the back of Andy Carroll's car?

it's one of those eternal truths that all lower-premiership club fans have - perpetuated because we only count the times when it comes true and not the times it doesn't - thus making it 100% true! (see also: "we're always last on MOTD" and "Lawro always predicts us to lose")

Put Ryo up against their weakest link. Dont think Tuncay deserves to be dropped after saturday but as mark Davis is a doubt he could end up playing in what may be his best position. Wheater did ok at the weekend and Ream being left footed may well be in Knight's favoured position. Not much between Knight/Wheater but Ream needs to play because he has pace and can pass a ball.

On second thoughts.. I've changed my mind about the centre backs. I would play Wheater instead of Knight. Chelsea pins teams back as they play a fairly slow and don't get behind too often, so Wheater's pace won't be as exposed as it would be normally. His concentration is better on the most part too.

Bish, your posts are far too level-headed and far too reasonable to have any place on an internet forum.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Invert the wingers, play 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 if you please. The only crucial element to this is that Muamba MUST play 90 minutes alongside NRC. That way and only that way, we might just salvage a point.

Some interesting comments on the chelsea forum. 4 0 6 formation away from home. Fullbacks getting caught too far up the pitch. No midfielders who can tackle.Dodgy overexposed central defenders.Drogba not the player he was. Stubborn manager trying to make his point at the expense of the team........

Got to laugh really
