Tope

Looks like someone's agent is after a move:

http://www.footymatters.com/articles/en ... ambitions/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?

Having watched him many times in the reserves I'm not too sure I agree that he could be our "secret weapon" !!

Interesting piece on him nevertheless.

Having just watched the you tube video at the end of the piece - get him in the first team this lad is our saviour !!!
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

If he can't do it in League 2, he can't do it for us. He certainly couldn't do it for England

Surely his agent or someone close to him has created that video..

Maybe a comparison could be 20yo Ben Marshall who was a Stoke player repeatedly sent out on loan. Marshall did fairly well in his loans but suffered a bad injury. He recovered before recently tearing it up for a short time at Sheffield Wednesday and he's just got a move to a Championship club.

Danny Ward similarly impressed on loan and our fax machine went off.

I see nothing like that happening for Obadeyi, all his loan clubs seem to send him back with reports of fans telling us he's merely an athlete not a footballer, and my own and everyone on here's viewings of him seem to generally agree with that.

Last time I had a go someone who knows him had a go at me on here so we'll see if that happens again!

I've seen him a few times and like you say, more of an athlete than a footballer.

Agreed, yet he still gets contract extensions. Though we then go & buy a player, Sordell, that Topi SHOULD be.

Bless him, but he ain't going to make it.

... & he's right, he needs to step down & get regular footy. I imagine this means he's not getting, yet another, extension.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He'll end up at Chorley.

I remember when we signed him from Coventry they all said he would be a world beater, more like a panel beater.

Doesn't get that good in FIFA 12 so he mustn't have a bright future ;)

This might not be the right thread, but it highlights one of the problems I have with our reserves/youth team. I know it sounds daft, but when was the last time we had a played that "looked" like a footballer? All I can think of is Nolan.

Other teams ie Norwich, Swansea, most of the players seem to be in decent footballing shape.

Or is it just me?

About £350k plus add ons (that won't and haven't been realised) IIRC
