I thought you wanted her to win?Bruce Rioja wrote:Masterchef (for a change). I'm actually hoping for a contest-ending injury on the part of that Japanese girl now. She makes me want to boot the tele over - and that pair of pricks will never vote her off.
And they will get rid of her, its just that so far there have been some reet duffers in there far worse than her. Her time is coming though, unless she manages to do something other than Japanese "bits and bobs" on a plate...
That lass from Mauritius is the winner as it stands IMO!

English arrows ( demonstrated by the War Bow Society) pierced a side of beef and broke bone, yet padded jackets made of multi layers of cloth actually stopped them doing the same thing. Oh, and blue paint was never used and kilts weren't invented till a few hundred years later, and the famous "Wallace Sword" that attracts the tourists was proven a total fake. .
Sorry Mel, the film was as jocose as you, a born New Zealander, turning up at the Scottish premier of the film in full Scottish reglia in tartan kilt, sporran and shawl.
You want to watch World's Deadliest Warrior, TD. That's proper ace telly.

About to see my apartment block on the news! The pub underneath my flat was trashed by United and Ajax fans tonight and BBC News North West has deemed it worthy of being one of its headlines!
Decent bar that too, ruined.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
The good, good people are sending me 'The Trip' which, although I watched the series when it came out, I look forward to watching again over the weekend.
I now only have six films left on my list though, which are;
Dead Man Walking
Iris
Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit
Rabbit Proof Fence
Stray Dogs
The Producers
Suggestions to add to the list gratefully received (no big explosion types though

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Sorry Hoss, but Strictly Ballroom was the best Aussie film. Great music and dance, but mainly a really funny spoof taking the mick out of ballroom heirarchy....And then there was Bluey, Skippy and Whiplash..CrazyHorse wrote:Oooh yeah. Is Romper Stomper not an Aussie one?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Never mind though, if you stick on that channel, it'll get round to Match of the Day later.
