Had an old Habitat chair that was cluttering up the place. Very uncomfortable and never liked it but Mrs C did. Almost gave it away but decided to put it on eBay expecting 20 quid maybe and it just made £117!

I take it that you didn't mention either 'uncomfortable' or 'clutter' in your description, Cig?clapton is god wrote:Had an old Habitat chair that was cluttering up the place. I have a Volkswagen Sports jacket that they gave me with my last car. I've never worn it for fear of being mistaken for an Alan Partridge type. I'm told though that if I were to stick it on ebay it'd fetch a few Quid. I've no idea how to though

Beating the league leaders 5-1
always great. Most noteworthy however, for having the Rt Hon. James Purnell squaring up to me

Went to top posh party on Sunday and drank champagne 'with gold bits' and had cheesy snackettes that was festooned with gold and even the cake had gold sprinkled in with the hundreds and thousands. But that's not what I'm happy about, oh no.
Today the gold is emerging into the light of day. Do I go prospecting, I think not, but I'm happy in the knowledge that for the next couple of days I can be classified in the category of one of the most expensive arseholes in the kingdom!

Drinking Goldschläger leaves gold in your biz too. I've been saving it up for a while nowThe Axman wrote:Went to top posh party on Sunday and drank champagne 'with gold bits' and had cheesy snackettes that was festooned with gold and even the cake had gold sprinkled in with the hundreds and thousands. That just made me smile. I've not heard that word in about 20 years. I'm going to make it my mission to resurrect it.Bruce Rioja wrote: Drinking Goldschläger leaves gold in your biz too. I've been saving it up for a while now

Tell him the back wheel's following the front. Then, when he glances round sing:
''Made you look, made you stare,
Made the barber cut your hair.
Cut it long, cut it short,
Cut it with a knife and fork.''
