Should standing areas be re-introduced?

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Sat in the bar of a London hotel once, I ended up reading through the property pages of the Evening Standard. I'd set myself a little task/game - If I were to borrow 3 x salary and take every penny of the equity in my then house, what could I afford?!

The answer was - one property in the entire feature - an absolute shithole in Stoke Newington

On the upside, I'm pretty sure you'd have a Mr Stewart Lee as a near neighbour though.

I used to live in Seven Sisters, GD, and got the bus in through SN (lovely place, in comparison!). Can defo see how it's a good place for Mrs GD's business! Went out one Friday night and we ended up playing pool winner-stays-on with us, a group of gangstaaaaa kids and some Jewish lads in full Hassidic garb. Was a surreal experience for a country boy like me! Good laugh though. One o' Jewish lads was PROPER keen! Went mental whenever he lost!

I do think safe standing areas will be introduced in the next couple of years. If they can do it in Germany they can do it here, some clubs in france and italy have safe standing aswell. I would love us to do it and rip all the seats out of the north lower and make it a safe standing stand and we would make it a unique atmosphere at the Reebok like we had at Burnden for sure. I'll do the survey!

Am not a tidge! Stood right at the back of the lower tier and had a very good view, thankyou very much :P thanks to the superior design of the Emirates stadium (and the 90 year old hunched up grandad directly in front of me...)
