Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'm just bloody relieved we probably won't come up against him next season.
The prospect of one of his side's turning us over is unthinkable. Imagine the shite he would come out with after!

You guys won't know him, so to save you the bother ... Yes, it IS him that will be found later today floating in the River Douglas, trapped in a very old, child-made dam.

Re: Megson Watch
Is Alan Curbishley 16/1 yet? I don't think that there's been a single managerial vacancy in the past four years for which Curbishley hasn't been 16/1 to get!

Its a pity that the title's already been taken, cos "The Constant Gardener" would make a fantastic Megson Biopic.

Re: Megson Watch
That made oi larf! I'd have thought 'Bill and Ben' to be more his forte. But it's a strange 'un. I could have sworn Mandaric said his job was safe even before the SheffU derby, then they go and win it and he gets fired. Wonder how long it'll be before he blames us for getting hime the sack.Lord Kangana wrote:Its a pity that the title's already been taken, cos "The Constant Gardener" would make a fantastic Megson Biopic.

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Re: Megson Watch
He had the biggest wage budget in the division, and the draw of the biggest club. I should imagine Mandaric wanted more than the play offs and several defeats on the bounce for all the money he's invested.
It rings a few bells him spunking money and then having a bunch of apologists line up to defend him, any way. No doubt he'll remind us all how he won the Boat Race at Hillsborough in a couple of years. Men's and Women's, by the way.

Re: Megson Watch
According to some journo's Huddersfield had a bigger budget. End of the day he took em from fighting relegation last year to third. Whichever way you look at it, sacking him is a bit odd. At the end of the season a bit more understandable if they didn't come up.Lord Kangana wrote:He had the biggest wage budget in the division, and the draw of the biggest club. Re: Megson Watch
Perhaps it wasn't simply 'football' stuff. Maybe Mandaric realised he was just a c*nt ?!?
I wonder if the radio interview, meant to be about his progress at Sheff Wed., but turned round to be the usual diatribe at Bolton, the fans, the Chairman helped piss people off.
Anyway, it made my evening.
Remember all the media time he got when we finally got rid ... & all that oozing sympathy ? Will we get all that again ? I bloody hope not.
