There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Norwich City - sacked
Blackpool - left after failing to make div.2 playoffs (but - decent enough record)
Stockport - left by mutual consent (AKA - sacked!)
Stoke - club (and job) sold from under his feet
West Brom - sacked - fell out with TWO club chairmen in a row
Notts Forest - resigned cos fans hated him and demanded his head on a plate
Leicester - left because we poached him!!! (Lords-a-Lorky!!!)
Bolton - sacked
Sheff Weds. - sacked

It rings a few bells him spunking money and then having a bunch of apologists line up to defend him, any way. No doubt he'll remind us all how he won the Boat Race at Hillsborough in a couple of years. Men's and Women's, by the way.
According to some journo's Huddersfield had a bigger budget. End of the day he took em from fighting relegation last year to third. Whichever way you look at it, sacking him is a bit odd. At the end of the season a bit more understandable if they didn't come up.
He said himself that they had the biggest budget in the division, when he was slagging the players off at the start of the season for under performing.

Part of his "Ooh what an amazing, massive club, with brilliant fans" shite he was spawning to try and keep them onside.

When was that Radio Manchester interview? Looks a bit silly now.

Really? Not just a football manager?

Bruce Rioch

Middlesbrough - Sacked
Millwall - Jumped ship to us.
Bolton - Jumped ship to Arsenal, having fallen out with our board.
Arsenal - Fell out with their board, fans, players and just about everyone else. Sacked.
Norwich - Resigned over a dispute with the board.
Wigan - Sacked.
Odense - Resigned due to falling out with clubs owners.
Aalborg - Sacked.

Erm, jumped ship being shorthand for "moved because successful"?

Comparing Rioch and Megson. Should be a hanging offence.

Also, he gets bonus points for telling Dave Whelan to stick it after he'd tried to intervene in training (Told Rioch how he wanted them to defend corners to be exact), but BWFC_I seems to have missed that too :conf:

Mandaric probably trying to get Redknapp before the FA get round to it......

The point being that if we're saying a manager who has been sacked from several clubs and fallen out with multiple chairmen and owners, is not exactly unusual in football.

Certainly don't think it makes you a c*nt, or hard done by. It just goes withe the territory,

Why? Cos they thought he did a good job for them?

Think they are better to judge that than we are. They seem to really like him. Perhaps because he's a fan of Sheff Weds and they just have that connection with him.

There are still a few Bolton fans who think Coyle should still be in a job.

and some who think he should be sacked and drummed out of football, his reputation so damaged that he never got a job in football again...

and at least one of those people also thinks Pratley is pretty ace - and it's just Coyle's fault that he isn't playing to his best...

No-one rates Pratley surely. :D
