Mighty Meg has his say, and surprisingly it's not all the BWFC fans fault..

So we're agreed that he's a c*nt* rather than a cancer then?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Megson Watch
Fixed it for you.If you want to go off on one get the facts right. Bruce Rioch is an honourable man who would still be my first choice to come in at Bolton, if and when Owen Coyle departs.BWFC_Insane wrote:Really? Not just a football manager?thebish wrote:he's either...

Bruce Rioch
Middlesbrough - Sacked
Millwall - Jumped ship to us.
Bolton - Left after his BWFC contract had expired when approached by one of the (then) leading clubs in the PL.
Arsenal - Replaced by Arsene Wenger, the man that slippery nice person Dein wanted in the first place but had to wait twelve months for.
Norwich - Resigned over a dispute with the board.
Wigan - Sacked.
Odense - Resigned due to falling out with clubs owners.
Aalborg - Sacked.

Bolton - Jumped ship to Arsenal, having fallen out with our board.
Arsenal - Fell out with their board, fans, players and just about everyone else. Sacked.
Norwich - Resigned over a dispute with the board.
Wigan - Sacked.
Odense - Resigned due to falling out with clubs owners.
Aalborg - Sacked.
Oh and Odense and Aalborg for Rioch were after the gardening money had dried up, rather than when he was pretending to be a going concern.

My facts are right. Yes rioch was approached by Arsenal and out of contract but he'd already fallen out with Hargreaves.Zulus Thousand of em wrote:Fixed it for you.If you want to go off on one get the facts right. At Arsenal he fell out with their board, with Ian Wright with their fans most of the other players etc.
My point was that most managers get sacked from lots of clubs and fall out with lots of folk, doesn't mean anything other than they are a football manager.
As for Rioch returning, absolutely not. Was a spent force well over a decade ago. Legend here for what he did, but still absolutely no.

you're going back on your statement that you'd welcome ANYONE cos ANYONE would be better than Coyle, then?BWFC_Insane wrote:

The problem is bwfci is that you dont know when to wind your neck in, your backing a loser but still persist in posting "I know it all" drivel.

Oh I think he'd not do any worse than Coyle is, and quite likely considerably better. But like I say if Coyle went, he'd not be someone I'd put on a list to replace him.thebish wrote:you're going back on your statement that you'd welcome ANYONE cos ANYONE would be better than Coyle, then?BWFC_Insane wrote:

I'm not "backing" anyone. I'm simply putting a counter argument to certain things that have been posted.jaffka wrote:The problem is bwfci is that you dont know when to wind your neck in, your backing a loser but still persist in posting "I know it all" drivel.

Hey hey it's davy Jones. Some doubt amongst wednesday fans that this is an improvement and questions as to whether something has occured that has been kept quiet. They dont believe the results line.
Re: Megson Watch
well - I, for one, refuse to believe that Megson could possibly have pissed anyone off or been any part of creating bad blood and ill-feeling with any other human being.Ianmooreslovechild wrote:Hey hey it's davy Jones. Just hope wednesday do get up now otherwise St gary will be pontificating about yet another club where his miracles weren't appreciated.actually it's a win win for him now. He can claim he turned them round and was taking them up eitherway and any future progress will be down to him. And of course all will be rosy in the garden for Chancy

Dave jones, the man who had one of the biggest budgets in the championship, but who managed to build teams that repeatedly bottled their chances of going up.
Not exactly thrilling for them is it?
Its worked out well for Megosn though, he's become a hero there before he'd actually had to achieve promotion. Football equivalent of a martyr I guess. Not bad given he will get a decent pay off and gets the adulation of their fans.

Jeez, that was bad luck.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He's a real nowhere man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like Owen Coyle?
Nowhere Man please listen,
You don't know what you're missing,
Nowhere Man,the world is at your command!
He's as blind as he can be,
Just sees what he wants to see,
Nowhere Man can you see me at all?
Nowhere Man, don't worry,
Take your time, don't hurry,
Leave it all till somebody else
lends you a hand!
Get out of Sheffield Gary, go just go

How come he wasn't on Football Focus ? ... or is that why the alarms went off when he tried to brake in ?
