... there HAS to be a protest. Long & loud, personal, vitriolic & unavoidable.
He has the next 4 games & can, actually, pick up some points but if Mavis isn't in a free-role in midfield ... & hence Muamba there in front of the back 4 ... in a proper 4-5-1 then the fckg eejit is only here to destroy us & that must be resisted.
Coyle Out !!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It won't work. It took fecking ages to get rid of Megson and 99% of Bolton fans hated and boo'ed him at games.
A lot of the supporters still like Coyle (albeit not on this forum), they were chanting his name at Millwall so there's no chance of him going in my opinion, regardless of what happens.

Problem is if we feck the next 4 games up we'll be as good as down. Bin him then and it's too late. Get rid now, give someone else a half decent chance while we still have it. Coyle has had long enough and there is no sign of him learning anything.

It was the same at Wigan at home, re: OC songs.
We can't afford to spend money on Coyle's garden. Some people are saying we'll give OC a new contract at the end of the season. Certainly can't see him going before it's mathematically impossible to stay up.
BTW, Bobo for President!

No chance of him picking that team again.
No chance of the same 11 numbers coming out of the lucky feckin magic hat in the same order is there?

given how long it took wolves - ending (effectively) in failure to appoint - I'd not have the confidence you have that we'd appoint someone that quickly...jimbo wrote:Problem is if we feck the next 4 games up we'll be as good as down. He could win the next four for me & I'd still want him out. Not that it's relevant, coz he won't.

You could give it to Mandy on the pasty stall in the fan zone & she'd have more fckg clue.thebish wrote:given how long it took wolves - ending (effectively) in failure to appoint - I'd not have the confidence you have that we'd appoint someone that quickly...jimbo wrote:Problem is if we feck the next 4 games up we'll be as good as down. I'm sorry. But that team selection did it for me.
I'll stop for an hour or two as there is, simply, nothing even remotely positive to say.

Folk who think Coyle is popular amongst Bolton fans are completely deluded. At the Wigan game is was as testy as I can remember with fans around me having a go at Coyle continually. There hasn't been the en masse Coyle out chants but that's only in my opinion because after all the Megson out stuff people are genuinely just fed up of the entire situation.
Its far too late to change manager now though, by the time one has settled in you're probably down anyways.
Coyle has been completely exposed this season as a naive, incompetent, dreamer and I think pretty much the final nails in the coffin that is his hopes for a top level managerial career are being hammered in now. The world is slowly but surely waking up to him.
Anyhow we have winnable games left and good enough players. I think there is still a chance, but it will rely on the manager and coaches doing things they've refused or been incapable to do all season, namely, organise, motivate and tactically outthink other sides. Its not over and there is still a chance, but a taxi has just turned up at Adeles house and beeped his horn.

Re: If Coyle selects a team like the one v Citeh again ...
Very good post IMO....but this team is very poorly coached, very disorganised, very uninspired & play like a team of strangers, it must be obvious to all that Coyle has surrounded himself with very amateur lower level coaching staff, who are just not capable of coaching premiership players. We have coaches who have only coached Burnley & Scottish lower league teams trying to coach and organise so called premiership footballers - and Coyle will never tactically outthink any other premiership manager.BWFC_Insane wrote:Folk who think Coyle is popular amongst Bolton fans are completely deluded. Yes - because there are another 4 shite teams down there with us, and because we have the easiest run in of the relegation 5 we may somehow luckily stay up....although personally I doubt it, because I just don't think this set of 'soft' spineless players have the fight or motivation to pick up enough points even against the lesser team (i.e. like against a poor Wigan side a few weeks ago).
But even if we do somehow manage to stay up - what will be the point with clueless Coyle in charge again next season ?

Re: If Coyle selects a team like the one v Citeh again ...
Bobo you read my mind. For months I've been absolutely moaning about Coyle's tactics and my old man(whos not into football) keeps on banging on about organising a protest. I don't see the right time to protest now but I suggest at the end of the season whatever division we're in we should organise something.
I was thinking along the lines of a boycott of a game at the end of the season if we're mathematically down with a joint statement from all online forums. We don't want it turn to nasty like Blackburn's just let the club know that it'll be nothing without the fans. What could be more troubling for Gartside than an half empty stadium on the last Saturday at the Reebok?
And bish you're right if we sacked him right now I doubt we'll get a proper long term replacement in. There seems to be a dearth of good British managers around atm so it'll be pointless replacing him with another clueless feck. If the club had foresight they'd search the globe for an up and coming manager that knows his stuff NOW. Have him in place for May/June and let him build his side. We've got to look beyond the Bolton connection that we're used to or have a small time mentality. A club that has played in the English top flight for the last decade can attract a good manager from across the world imv.
In any case if Coyle is around beyond this season I'll be livid.

If coyle is sacked - I think we should ship in a top-of-his game MLS manager.... be the first to do it...
Bruce Arena - a chance to prove himself outside MLS??
Dominic Kinnear
one of them.

Not one for this boycott malarky personally. The club already bled me dry for two season tickets this year so I dont really fancy cutting my nose to spite my face (although I do agree with the idea as a overall concept/if it were for a home cup game per say). Il just turn up as usual and if the performance is truly shite il do my booing at the fulltime whistle and vent my feelings on a online forum with my fellow sufferers!
