PBs [most of them come from decades ago when I was in school]

100m ~13.5 sec (aged 15)
400m 59 sec (aged 18)
marathon 2 hrs 45 min (aged 21)
long jump 12 ft 8 in (aged 16)
high jump 5 ft 2 in (aged 16)
Triple jump 11 ft (aged 14)
pole vault 4m 10cm (aged 17)
javelin 62 ft (aged 20)
football - got picked for school teams 6 times in total - scored 1 goal (aged 12) in a match we won 8-1

As you can see I wasn't very good at chucking or jumping. The pole vault entry wasn't just my PB, it was the only successful pole vault I ever managed; I was really really shit at it but it fascinated me.
Triple jump, I couldn't even get into the pit, and ninety nine times out of a hundred I'd foul the hop or step bit. I must be the only person in the universe with a better PB for long jump than I had for triple jump.

As is evident I was only good at one type of event - long distance. I could canter for hours. Cross country was my idea of heaven for sports lessons.

long jump 12 ft 8 in (aged 16) = 3.9m
high jump 5 ft 2 in (aged 16) = 1.6m
Triple jump 11 ft (aged 14) = 3.4m
