Apparently Robbo thought he was playing playing his best football before being dropped for Bolton.

I think that is the problem. He was playing the best football he is now capable of. It is just not Premiership quality football.

About 20 seconds in.

Robbo: I felt so a-loan

PAUL ROBINSON admits he was desperate to get a fresh start away from struggling Bolton.

The left-back joined Leeds on loan this week after losing his place in the first team at the Reebok since Christmas.

Veteran Robinson believed he was doing his all to try and keep Wanderers in the Premier League but was still frozen out.

Bolton have been battling the drop all season and Robinson, 33, said: "It's been frustrating for me there. I felt like I was playing my best football and putting my body on the line for the club.

"But obviously they felt differently for different reasons. It's been very frustrating for me as a person and as a player.

"I'm just happy to be out of the place for a little while — just to get my head right."

Wanderers take on relegation rivals QPR today in what boss Owen Coyle describes as a relegation six-pointer.

When they beat Rangers at Loftus Road on the opening day they went top of the table — but they could be bottom this afternoon.

Coyle said: "We enjoyed winning 4-0 at QPR back in August — but it counts for nothing.

"What's important now is what's in front of us. There is no getting away from it, when two teams at the wrong end of the table are playing each other at this stage of the season, it is a huge game."
Businesswoman of the year.

I've been a Robbo fan throughout as I like his straightforward, old-style approach to the game and like his drive & at times he's been the only 'captain' on the pitch. However, Paul, seriously, nothing personal or anything but if you feel that this season you've performed then you're as delusional as Coyle.

... & yes, you do need to get your head straight !
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Yep. Thought he played well, without having too much to do
