Well he sure ain't a striker... hard-working under-deadly "wide forward", like Dirk Kuyt but less Dutch.

I think next season is huge for Miyaichi - he needs to prove he's a top-flight player, probably on loan.
Is all that code for 'Gervinho is shit'? If so, bob on.

I've found this video now, and he is playing on both left and right flank for Feyenoord(I knew he is almost 2-footed).It seems we can make him play as a right winger while Petrov playing as a left winger. Anyway, I like this video. I think I like pacey skillful dribblers like Miyaichi.

Gervinho is a shocking player and I honestly don't see what Wenger saw in him to sign him up. He's like all the bad points of our current strikers rolled into one absolute crock of shit.

And yet he looks quite good compared to Chamakh...

Btw, I wonder why Coyle made Miyaichi keep playing on the right after Eagles replacing Petrov

Miyaichi is almost 2-footed and can play on either flank, but I heard his best position is LW, not RW.

Yes, it would have made sense to have them switch wings so Miyaichi could run at Onouha, who was on a yellow. Still, it worked out, so...

Ryo's bruises are proof of his impact
http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/95 ... r/?ref=rss" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
STATISTICS that suggest Ryo Miyaichi is among the Premier League’s top creative players might be open to debate, but the bruises on his shins are proof positive of the impact the Japanese winger is having on Wanderers’ fortunes.

According to the BBC website, the 19-year-old’s contribution to Saturday’s vital victory over QPR – seven goalscoring chances plus one assist (for Ivan Klasnic’s winning goal) – has only been bettered on three occasions in a single game in the Premiership.

It seems an unlikely claim. But Owen Coyle’s view of his loan capture from Arsenal says much more about the kid he borrowed from Arsenal who might not be the biggest but has shown he is brave enough for the fight for survival.

“He’s not the stature for a sleeves-up battle to stay up, but he does have an effect,” the manager said after Miyaichi’s man-of-the-match performance against Wanderers’ fellow strugglers.

“He’s wiry and takes kicks. He will be back and blue because of the kicks he took as he’s so positive playing against good players.

“He shows unbelievable quality, he’s brave and he’s got an unbelievable temperament about him.”

Coyle, who has previously hit the jackpot with young loan players – Chelsea’s Daniel Sturridge last season and Jack Wilshere in 2009-10 - is confident he has unearthed another gem in Miyaichi, who has risen impressively to the challenge and who could follow in Wilshere’s footsteps and return to the Emirates with a big Premiership reputation. “They are different types of players but there’s no doubt he can,” the Wanderers boss said. “He has already had a huge impact. He came on at half time against Wigan and he was the best player on the pitch.

“He went to Millwall and scored a wonder goal. He went to Chelsea and frightened the life out of their defenders and he did the same last week at Manchester City. Joe Hart had a wonder save from him.

“I am just excited by everything. He continues to grow, develop and I believe he will have a big impact in his remaining games.

“He’s been fantastic since coming but he has to kick on.”

Miyaichi modestly deflected the praise that came his way.

“I was surprised to be awarded man of the match to be honest - I think it should go to Ivan,” he said.

“Looking back on that goalscoring moment, I drifted inside and Chris (Eagles) gave me a good ball. When I chested it and turned, Ivan Klasnic was making a good run. I only needed to make a pass and Ivan finished it off.

“But this was a victory that we won together as a team. We all were united and during the game the fans we amazing. I really enjoyed it.”
