Ah, slight hiccup here. I've just realised that I'll be trying to find are bar that might on the off chance be showing our game - In Dublin - On St Pats - Whilst Ireland are playing England in the Six Nations.Salford Trotter wrote:Slauncha, have a couple for me Bruce! Speaking of Webb, I noticed he did all he could to stop Percy doing something that would have got him sent off on Monday night
Anybody think he'd have done the same with Diouf?
I reckon he would have stood well back and let him hang himself, personally

Without a doubt.. Isn't Webb the fella who sent Diouf off for swearing, yet the week after laughed when Rooney called him a "Fvckin' c*nt"
"I've got the ball now. It's a bit worn, but I've got it"
Re: FA Cup Quarter Final - Away Spurs/Stevenage
to be fair you cant send rooney of that, he is only speaking the truth.

Actually going quite well know, around 4500 home tickets left compared to 10.7k when i checked earlier this week.TTID wrote:Still plenty of availabilty in the home sections....
I don't want to start any blasphemous rumours but i think that God's got a sick sense of humour and when i die i expect to find him laughing

Suspect you're right - favouring the big names/clubs can occur in more nuanced ways than penalties and red cards.CAPSLOCK wrote:Speaking of Webb, I noticed he did all he could to stop Percy doing something that would have got him sent off on Monday night

As a general principle, I wish refs did more proactive 'red card avoidance' work, but it's true that it would have to be for the Dioufs of the world too.

I've heard we haven't sold 500 tickets for Spurs sat which doesn't surprise me, to expensive with match ticket and travel and its not appealing watching your team get fcuking hammered.

£36 a ticket and £25 for official travel.......with the game on tv....no wonder the sales are low. If they had put on free travel, they may have sold more.Jokers in White wrote:I've heard we haven't sold 500 tickets for Spurs sat which doesn't surprise me, to expensive with match ticket and travel and its not appealing watching your team get fcuking hammered.

Simple answer being missed here. It's Howard Webb. He's a tool!boltonboris wrote:Without a doubt.. Isn't Webb the fella who sent Diouf off for swearing, yet the week after laughed when Rooney called him a "Fvckin' c*nt"

I'll be in Londinium on saturday as I am paassing through en route to sunnier climes. I have neither a ticket for the FA cup game or the 6 nations. Pretty poor planning on my part. Hope I can find a pub with both on...

Marvin Sordell is cup-tied and won't feature, whilst the manager also revealed Chris Eagles has a slight hamstring strain and is a doubt.

clearly we should field an entire team of academy/reserves - and use the cup game to (basically) hack the spurs players down and break a few legs, heads, arms, toes - who cares if we pick up 3 reds (they are academy kids!) - then we will stand more chance of points in the important league game...
