Wem-berr-leeee...

Post by Andy Waller » Fri Mar 16, 2012 8:11 am

Just supposing we do beat Spurs and end up getting to Wembley, who will actually go?

A quick survey of my BWFC supporting mates says that none of them would go if we did.

Any thoughts anyone?

(Any comments about me only having one (or no) mate(s) will be sulked at.)

It's looking like we'll still be in the relegation mire if we DID get there so paying £100+ for a day in London, watching the reserves?

There's 4 of us who go together to the match so that would be £400 for pop, crisps and watch it on telly?

We wont get there but i would go on the basis that it will never be as bad as last time, might wipe out some memories. I would think twice about the (most) expensive seats mind.

Surely most would go really??

if I was free (ie not working or at some function that the missus has imposed a 3-line whip on) - then I'd go. (might even buy GG a ticket so she could see what wembley's like! ;-) )

Been to the old Wembley plenty of times for Charity Sield games (ahh, what fun we had in the sun flicking V signs at Teddy Sheringham - happy days!) and we also used to play our Campions Lague games there for a few seasons too.

Not been to the new one though - thanks Bishy for pointing that out!

I'd go. You've got to; you never know when we could be back there.

Although the way things are going, the League One playoff final in 2014 is a genuine possibility.

Ditto. She came with me last year .... and had opinions.

I'm not putting up with that again !!

I'd go. Didn't know if I'd ever see the Whites at new Wembley. Each time they get there, I'll be there if I can.
