FA Cup Quarter Final - Away Spurs/Stevenage

Nobody's squabling, just discussing. Just nerves a bit near the surface from worry I guess. Not the best day of any of our lives.

Dunno whether to go to bed, or stay up. I realise it's pointless either way, but just feels like I can't think about anything else or get the horrible images out my head.
Me too man. It's an awful situation this, I'm not religious at all but if there's any God at all he'll pull through

I know mate, shit day and nothing anyone can do but hope. I'm sure he has the best care available and every football fan in the country and beyond is willing him to recover.

I just woke up to this. Utterly gobsmacked.

Hoping for the best.

My way of avoiding the game today - just fear, just fear, that's all - was to go to see two Spanish films on the run, with mob off...

At 8.45pm at Oxford Rd station I switched my mob back on, dreading the result... To find the news... and now I know... And have been glued to the news since...

Come on, Fab, come on, come on... Come on, come on, come on...

Come on, Fab.

Support from people all over the place overwhelming.

Medical staff and fans at the ground fantastic. Just really hope he makes it.

This is utterly devastating. I've always seen him as one of the nicest fellas in the team. His background and his character to me have always made him one of the players I've most admired.

Cmon Muamba! Pull through mate.

All our support and thoughts with Fabrice Muamba tonight in making a full recovery. Best wishes to his family and all at Bolton too from Altrincham FC.

Not had much sleep, thinking of Moo all night and lying in bed feeling numb. Dreaded turning the radio on, all kinds of thoughts running through my head, but thankfully no additional bad news this morning.

The level of support from around the world is fantastic, really heartwarming. The worst hours of my life as a Wanderer (and I go back quite some distance!) but maybe the best of times to be a football fan.

Come on Moo!

me neither... I feel no better today - even with the thought that no news is good news.. in the night I was convinced we'd wake to a grim announcement that he'd lost his battle... :-(

but - it still feels like one of my family...

actually - in some ways, he IS one of my family - that's what supporting a club IS - it IS an extended family...

c'mon moo - can't wait for the day you'll get to sky another Moo-special into row Z...

I'm just in shock. Trying to keep a lid on it so as not to spoil Mother's Day for my daughter and wife but keep being drawn back to the board. I'm hoping and praying he can pull through this and live a normal life afterwards.

As has been said it's as if it's a member of your own family. Recover strong, Moo.

" United". Normally a word to incite the wrong sort of feeling in any Bolton fan. Today, feelings absolutely moved to the depths of sorrow, it's suddenly become a word to incite hope and thankfullness that decent human beings the world over can unite in times of tragedy and put the world in perspective. Massive, massive respect to Tottenham Hotspur and true football players and fans the world over. With this sort of support the lad just has to win. Come on Muamba, love will get you where hate never could. MUAMBA......

Looking forward for more news in the next few hours. He has two important points to overcome- 24 hours, and getting out of anesthesia tomorrow. Go on mate you can do it!
