Hope the FA can put this back. It's far too early after what has happened and I cant see how anyone could attend as a fan whilst there is uncertainty about Muamba, it just seems so irrelevant. The players certainly shouldnt have to go through a game so soon. Until Muamba is stable how can anyone focus on anything else

I couldnt,I'm just a fan,god knows how the players must feel ,he's their mate,they'll still be in shock on Tuesday.cant see how they can move forward train or anything until there is some reassuring news and some confidence that Moo will pull through

Yes it should be postponed. It all brought back memories of the Phil O'Donnell tragedy about 5 years ago.

A statement will be made today. I'd be surprised if it's on. But we'll have to get back to playing by next weekend, no-matter what & the Spurs re-match also unless we cry-off, which I doubt.

Definitely,hopefully by next weekend Moo will be safe and recovering and people can move forward. I understand the hospital can only say so much but the uncertainty is terrible.Leaves you helpless and kind of stuck.

I don't think in all honesty we can ask our players to go back to WHL in a weeks time. Pulling out seems sensible.

Indeed - and I'd like to think that even the lowest of Blackburn's low-life (and we've seen some pretty shocking stuff from them this season) will be able to behave themselves for the afternoon. I hope so.

Bolton-Aston Villa postponed after Fabrice Muamba collapse
Bolton's Premier League meeting at Aston Villa on Tuesday has been postponed amid concern over the health of Trotters midfielder Fabrice Muamba.

The 23-year-old is critically ill after suffering a cardiac arrest during Saturday's FA Cup tie at Tottenham.

A Bolton statement said: "The club would like to thank Aston Villa and the Premier League for their kind support and understanding at this time."

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish, who worked with Muamba at St Andrew's

Villa said they had agreed to Bolton's request "without hesitation".

In a club statement, Villa manager Alex McLeish paid tribute to a player he managed at Birmingham City.

McLeish said: "He has always been a terrific lad, nothing other than the perfect professional.

"In my experience he trained every day the way he went to play in games, full of intensity and enthusiasm.

"He is a manager's dream in terms of his commitment to the team and to his club and I know that [Bolton boss] Owen Coyle will feel the same way about him.

"My heart goes out to his family and it is overwhelming to think what they are going through right now."

Bolton's next scheduled game is at home to Blackburn on Saturday, 24 March.

The Blackburn game could be in doubt, and we are also likely to pull out of the FA Cup according to the mirror article.

I think personally I wouldn't care if we don't play another game this season. I just want Muamba to be able to see his little boy grow up.

Correct decision to call off the game on Tuesday. With Fabrice in critical condition there is no way that game could have been played.
Let's hope he recovers full of health...football can wait.
