I suppose it's the kind of question the media are expected to ask. Coyle deflected it well,Gartside looks absolutely drained. Everyone is handling this with credit but it's horrendous.CAPSLOCK wrote:It was

Re: Fabrice Muamba
must admit i took heart from Coyles interview.
he was about to say something, stopped himself and said 'lets not get ahead of ourselves'
we don't wanna read too much into it of course but its normal to grab at any signs of something positive, nothing wrong with that.

Bristol City fan here, all the best to Fabrice and Bolton fans
Re: Fabrice Muamba
Tottenham fan here who was in the East lower yesterday.
Didn't notice Muamba go down at first as was too busy watching the play. Then when the ball went out of play we noticed Muamba down.. Nobody near to me knew why he'd gone down. Then after watching Gallas and Van der Vaart's reactions we assumed it had been a nasty head collision. As the physio's and doctors arrived on the pitch it became obvious this was something else and Muamba was in a bad way. We stood together stunned as CPR etc was carried out on him, it's an awful feeling when all you can do is pray.
Both fans then roared the physio's on as they carried out CPR on Muamba and after the Bolton fans chanted his name we all became one. You could hear a pin drop when we left the stadium. We passed behind the Park Lane and a number of Bolton fans were outside the stadium and they were obviously cut up about it all. We shared our grief together and wished them well. I felt physically sick as I got back to the car. I then drove back to the north east 250 mile in a state of shock whilst listening to Talksport/5 live praying for good news.
Huge respect to the club doctors/physio's who did there very best for him.
Best wishes to your travelling support who attended yesterday, and all other Bolton supporters. Hopefully welcome you back to the Lane very soon with a fully recovered Muamba.

Went to Church for the first time in years today. Been at a loose end since it happened.
Praying for good news and hoping for a wee miracle. He's a young, strong lad with millions of people willing him through. Come on Mu.

Couldn't get this going as well as we hoped.
Although there were a good section of us singing for him, but the Chelsea fans didn't sing a single song all afternoon..

Here's a similar story with an ex-fox.

And my daughter's round the corner - by Roman Rd market... She was at the game yesterday...
She said both sets of fans were great, but it was the most shocking thing she'd ever experienced at a game...
She also said that she dreaded switching on the news when she got home... she thought he wouldn't have survived...
Come on Fabrice...
