Yeah we'll have to decide because the game would be played Monday/Tuesday after the Blackburn gameRelentless09 wrote:Doesn't bother me if we play or not, all I care is that Muamba pulls through, but a decision will have to be made probably this week

There's four weeks until the semis. No rush really. More important things to sort out tbh.adamworthy2002 wrote:Yeah we'll have to decide because the game would be played Monday/Tuesday after the Blackburn gameRelentless09 wrote:Doesn't bother me if we play or not, all I care is that Muamba pulls through, but a decision will have to be made probably this week
Re: Wem-berr-leeee...
The prospect of playing the QF game again does not seem all that appealing at the moment. I very much doubt that the players on either side would find it easy to play at all in the circumstances. As a fan, I genuinely don't think I would care about the result.

I would happily forfeit it ... of course ... for his recovery.
To be frank though I'd happily pass the match over anyway.
I doubt our players could focus & you know, & I'd never have said this till yesterday, I'd be delighted to step aside to allow Spurs, the club ... the players ... the fans, through.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

First and foremost I'm not in thr slightest bit bothered and would swap ever playing in the FA Cup again for Fabrice to recover.
However I do believe Fab would want us to go to spurs and play to win and get to Wembley. We will know more in the next 24 hours I guess. Fabs a fighter and I'm not giving up. Talk about football is premature of course so lets see what the next day brings.

The final paragraph matches my thoughts. This is not about what anyone but Fab deserves but is be happy to seen spurs go on. They have been wonderful in all of this.
Anyway, as ever...come on Fab!

Should wait on further news of Fabrice and make the best decision on the circumstances

I think we should withdraw from the competition. But, and this is weird, if we don't, I'm going to the game. I don't really know why. But I feel I have to.

I understand and agree pal. I don't know why but something will drag me there of it goes ahead. I wasn't there last night but something tells me I'd be at the game if Moo pulls through & it's replayed.
It's all pointless anyway.

Fab is a fighter and gives 100% every time he's on the pitch, us fans and the players should give a 100% to ensure we perform to our maximum and do Fabrice proud

Re: Wem-berr-leeee...
we should play the game, because i think we all realise more than ever that that is what it is - a game- with joie de vivre and energy
and an attempt to entertain and win
because if the events of the last 30 hours tell us anything its that the randomness and fragility of human existence makes every moment and every experience precious
come on Fab

Re: Wem-berr-leeee...
The choice of whether to play the replay should be left to Owen and the players, it will be a very difficult and emotional game to replay and can completely understand if we pull out. As has been said, I wasn't there on Saturday but should the game go ahead I will be there.

I wasn't there and feel now I should have been. If I had, though I would have taken my daughter so I'm glad she was spared that.
I'll be there for the replay though.

Dunno what I feel really - not bothered either way - though I suspect Moo himself would want us to go out and give the FA Cup a fecking good go...William the White wrote:I think we should withdraw from the competition. Forgive me for being premature but won't the people who bought the tickets for the original game be still valid which means there'll be precious few extra tickets available for BWFC fans that didn't attend. I like the idea of a T-W love in though
