Look, I can't be arsed arguing at the momentHoboh wrote:Caps would you expect your bosses to be at your bedside every day? London is hardly LA is it? But thats what they've been doing
If those two stay down there til weekend and then don't feel up to a match on Saturday, do we still go ahead
No, do we bollocks

Just relieved that it appears our lad is getting better
I would expect my bosses to do anything
What I'm saying is that if Coyle and Garty decide they should be in London, it doesn't actually appear to be the best way to prepare the team (I'm trying hard here to not score points...)

It all seems quite irrelevant at the current time but the lad is a professional footballer, and a bloody good one at that, so I just wondered if there had been any murmurings from medical professionals and the like whether the lad will ever play again (and the potential stresses such action could cause). I must reiterate that although it seems a matter of such little importance in the short term but it was the mans career and the incident at Tottenham must have thrown a real curve ball into the next 10+ years of what could, and hopefully still might, be a fantastic career.
Experts, of course will tell. But I'd be beyond stunned if he ever plays professional football at any real level again.
Nice a dream as that is, unless they can say that Saturday was simply a blip then no way, no way at all would he risk it, nor any club, nor any insurer.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Totally agree,Love Moo to bits as a player but no way should he ever put himself at risk after this. He's a bright lad, hopefully if he recovers well he will be able to have a successful career elsewhere.bobo the clown wrote:time, &wanderers_on_tour wrote:I guess no one really knows except for those close to Fabrice as well as Coyle, Gartside etc. but has there been any word, official or from those ITK about any long term effects on Fabrice?

As for Saturday,if the players are OK and Moo is safe then by all means get on but lets not be having any do it for moo nonsense.Celebrate his survival and get the charity buckets out

Indeed he's defied all the odds so far. So long as he can lead a happy life......but I'd not be ruling anything in or out yet, I'm sure he's not!CAPSLOCK wrote:Fook me, can we stop making ill informed judgements

Re: The Match Against Blackburn Rovers
Looking forward to saturday - feel good about the prospect of football being played. Dont care about the result, just as long as Fabrice knows the score at the end.
For once the starting line up shall not be in question. We will have 11 Muamba's out there and they will get everyones support for the whole match. I will be a proud Wanderer on Saturday.

That blackburn goal made me curse, how bad were Sunderland though?! Could hardly put a few passes together and just awful in front of goal.

Even better.
If we do win, then somehow beat Villa we could drag them right into this relegation battle. I doubt the other teams around us could get that many points though.
Re: The Match Against Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn winning tonight is actually good for us, I reckon, since now they don't need to win quite so urgently.
