Hope you don't really believe that mate.jmjhb wrote:Blackburn winning tonight is actually good for us, I reckon, since now they don't need to win quite so urgently.

Let's just hope for a full house on Saturday and 3 points. I am glad that Fab is slowly on the mend, I was very upset on Saturday watching it all unfold. As shocking as that was I also had the misfortune to bury a work colleague on the day before, my boss let us all go to the funeral and even the wake, but now we all have to pick up his work and graft harder to get our ship in order. I think that's what the Wanderers need to do.

hmmm... and in the real world... LOSE and they are out of sight and it's suddenly 3 from 4... {gulp}Annoyed Grunt wrote:Bollocks in deed.thebish wrote:aye... b'burn pulling 6pts clear of the drop zone....Salford Trotter wrote:The dingles lead sunderland 1 nil
edit: 2-0 now - that's a BIG win... bollox!!
However, beat them Saturday, 3 points behind and game in hand.
(and I DO still care!!)

don't you think the players have enough on their plate without doing your job too???
Re: The Match Against Blackburn Rovers
So Blackburn will be a bit more relaxed on Saturday.
Hmmmm
Not really to our advantage .
I predict a draw.

I'd take a draw. Wolves game is the more winnable one, even away.
Would love us to beat Blackburn home and away though

Saying on the news an announcement will be made today about whether it goes ahead or not.

Yes Coyle is holding training with the players, (first time since....) and he will make a judgement about Saturday. Likely to be on unless Fab suffers a (god forbid) setback or the players are still in shock.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Saying on the news an announcement will be made today about whether it goes ahead or not.

I wouldn't. Not now. We need points.Jakerbeef wrote:I'd take a draw.

God willing if he is still improving, I hope Fab sends a passive-aggressive tweet on Friday evening/Saturday morning about him not being in the team.
Anyway, to the game. They'll be seeing this as a chance to get properly out of this ... it really doesn't seem that long ago that every man, his dog and the cat next door was laughing at them. How times change.
They play two up front, don't they? Out number in the midfield. NRC, Pratz, Mavies. Take it from there. To be honest I can barely form cognitive thoughts as it is, so I'll save any brilliant tactical insight for another time.
Let's give it a reet good go, though.

It's not the ping pong I'm worried about.
In all the confusion on Saturday, the kit man accidentally left the SuperGirl outfit down at Spurs. How can we prepare for a crunch match without this vital piece of equipment?

Lend them yours?
Re: The Match Against Blackburn Rovers
Looking at the run in. Blackburn will be well up for this weekend as they have a tough April ahead of em. This game is massive and I think OC will have to think long and hard as the players will have to be fully focused to get anything from it.

Is there any official word as to whether it's being played or not?

I think the key is waiting for official word that it's been called off.. Otherwise, it's on as normalAndy Waller wrote:Is there any official word as to whether it's being played or not?

Still showing on the front page of the club site as being 3 o'clock on Satdi, so I agree with Boris - game on until notified otherwiseboltonboris wrote:I think the key is waiting for official word that it's been called off..
