Re: Muamba Tribute Saturday
Throughout the whole week everyone associated with BWFC has conducted themselves superbly. People like Coyle, Gartside, Reo-Coker and Davies have shown immense strength dealing with a situation none will have found themselves in before. Today was the perfect way to cap the week. I worried before the game that it may be poorly done, and a little morbid. Instead it focused so much on the positivity in the events that have followed last Saturday, and generated a lot of optimism. It was a really proud moment to be a fan of the Wanderers. Also enjoyed the huddle at the end. Such public displays of togetherness are rarely seen, and you could see what it meant to the players to have got that result after a pretty hellish few days.
Re: Muamba Tribute Saturday
I don't think Phil was the only one trying to hold it together today during the pre-match.

My view..

news coverage will probably start to calm down a bit now, thats the way things work with the press, but even those of us who have (almost) nothing to do with Bolton are still sending the positive vibes guys

Was a fantastic gesture from Muamba's first club and one of which Gooner Girl's justifiably proud.
What's the matter with you?

Paraphrasing here but essentially "it's not like other injuries and for BWFC fans who think he's going to come back in a couple of weeks he's not, Coyle is preparing for the long road that Muamba has to go."BWFC_Insane wrote:What's the cock saying?TKIZ! wrote:Anyone watching Sunday Supplement about the game yesterday? Now, correct me if I'm wrong here but when has anyone, anywhere from the BWFC camp suggested that we would have expected Muamba to be playing any time in the near future if dare I say it at all?
WE at the club were way more concerned that Moobs was going to a)remain alive b) make a recovery
Pfffft.

let's face it - Coyle wouldn't have started Muamba even if he WAS fit!

And does he think we'd have a big mosaic for a player who will be playing again in a few weeks?
Obviously he judges everyone by West Ham fans standards.

Obviously because we're a Northern team we must all be completely denseBWFC_Insane wrote:Does he think we're all a bit think?TKIZ! wrote:Paraphrasing here but essentially "it's not like other injuries and for BWFC fans who think he's going to come back in a couple of weeks he's not, Coyle is preparing for the long road that Muamba has to go."BWFC_Insane wrote:What's the cock saying?TKIZ! wrote:Anyone watching Sunday Supplement about the game yesterday?
