He's OK.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Adam Bogdan
agreed bogdan is our no1 now but honestly feel jussi should get a chance vs city see if he can make some miracle saves / see if he actually tries anymore / see if hes worth contract extension as second goalie
if i were to say who should leave in the summer
SDK
Pratley
Gardener
S DAVies
Petrov
Jussi
Blake
robinson
but they all deserve another chance at first team also justaslong as we let them know its do or die and there effort and performance will dictate there chance of contract renewals
we need to cut the old guard a tad

Re: Adam Bogdan
Still think we should play "three & in" tomorrow, so a few people can play in goal & let Boggers have a run-about.thebish wrote:can we not sacrifice a winger and play two goalies?mrpiccollo wrote:agreed bogdan is our no1 now but honestly feel jussi should get a chance vs city see if he can make some miracle saves / see if he actually tries anymore / see if hes worth contract extension as second goalie

They have had enough chances and failed to perform, we are 2nd bottom with 12 games left. Time is running out for more bloody chances FFS!mrpiccollo wrote:agreed bogdan is our no1 now but honestly feel jussi should get a chance vs city see if he can make some miracle saves / see if he actually tries anymore / see if hes worth contract extension as second goalie

Isn't he on a 4 year Contract? Could we find someone dumb enough to buy him?mrpiccollo wrote:agreed bogdan is our no1 now but honestly feel jussi should get a chance vs city see if he can make some miracle saves / see if he actually tries anymore / see if hes worth contract extension as second goalie

Only if we sack Coyle. I'm hoping Bogdan will roll a black/white striped carpet across the goal line tomorrow.School children mistaking him as a belisha beacon may be our best form of defenseWorthy4England wrote:Isn't he on a 4 year Contract? Re: Adam Bogdan
He's shown stellar aerial ability and some decent shot-stopping. Considering the bombardment we get in most games and the number of goals conceded from crosses/corners I think he needs to be first choice until the season's end.
I remember Hull away, but Jussi (like SKD) doesn't seem to have it no more.

Bogdan was superb yesterday at the Lane. His defense left him exposed numerous times but instead of losing his noodle, he just keeps on with it making save after save. Revelation of the season?

Re: Adam Bogdan
If such a season could have anything classed as a revelation then maybe, but its all relative, a lot of what he does is what you would expect a prem keeper to do.

Re: Adam Bogdan
He's superb until he has to catch a cross, or deal with a corner, then he's like a bit clueless and should he make the mistake he made with Spurs' first goal last night in a crucial relegation game (especially if without the string of saves before it) he'll be crucified.Holden midfielder wrote:Bogdan was superb yesterday at the Lane. He threatened to chuck the Blackburn game several times.
Obviously a tremendous talent, but lots to learn. He could yet cost us on crosses/corners/set pieces!

kept us in in single-handedly for most of the game last night.....BWFC_Insane wrote:He's superb until he has to catch a cross, or deal with a corner, then he's like a bit clueless and should he make the mistake he made with Spurs' first goal last night in a crucial relegation game (especially if without the string of saves before it) he'll be crucified.Holden midfielder wrote:Bogdan was superb yesterday at the Lane.
