Hate to say this, but I fist pumped when Valencia scored for them.

Though actually, the love for BWFC should always be stronger than any hatred towards others.

Blackburn in the bottom three now. They were safe a fortnight ago with Kean widely being touted for manager of the season......

I believe you were touting him as a good manager not THAT long ago!!!
My surprise was at how quickly it's changed from them looking pretty safe to being back in the bottom three!

Kean will have done well if they stay up given the circumstances.

are they f**k they are w@*k

dont listen to the bullsh*t in the media about them which is basically the same as what we got with Megson in charge

long ball team with a couple of key players
Better defensively than us and more of a threat up front.

Even without our injured players we have more in midfield. Nowt between us and Rovers overall...IMO.

where are they in the league???

the grass is greener...
The league table suggests that there is not a lot between the two sides as I said?

2 weeks ago they were 4 points clear of us. Now we are a point above them. I don't think that does anything other than support what I said that we are of similar ability overall?

Can't see it happening but a win against Fulham could start our break away from the relegation zone, balls in our court, we win we stay clear, loss were back in

Can't believe i uttered the words 'come on united' last night.
Can't believe my lips knew how to form that sequence of words in the first place.

Anyone have an update on how we've all done against other relegation teams. After just beating QPR, Blackburn and Wigan we must be near the top!?

Don't want to put the mockers on it; but when was the last time we won four in a row? (Excluding the cup game at Tottingham). If we do beat Fulham, I reckon we can only send ourselves down. And worryingly, I think we are quite capable of that. But I'm quite hopefull of catching Villa, and feeling a little more positive than at any other stage of the season, bar the first game when we were top. Oh happy days....... :oyea:

Even 4 points gap on Saturday evening wouldn't be much.

Not sure where all this thought that we could almost stay up this weekend, is coming from.

By monday (after defeat at Newcastle) we could be firmly back in it.

4 points clear with 6 or 7 games to go is massive

Its not like teams at the bottom win many

IF we went four points clear of the bottom three on Saturday the worst we could be come Monday would be 1 point clear with 2 games in hand.

Which would be very good indeed.

But I agree with the general point that there is no point getting carried away. Blackburn thought they were safe two weeks ago and now look at them.

Fail to beat Fulham and we'll be back in the bottom three, and yes we'll have games in hand, but those games will be harder if we're clawing our way out than if we're scrapping for the finish line.......

Fail to stay up out of this situation and we really do deserve to go down, given that we really shouldnt even have a chance at this stage but for these last 3 games we'd have been in big trouble. But we seem to have this second chance at gettiing out of it and after having for so long accepted we probably would go down, i'll be annoyed if we do now from this situation.

I recall reading somewhere (though I'm open to correction) that every team in last place in the Premier League on December 31 has been relegated. When I noted that we were last in 2011 I thought well, it's time to make history. For a while it didn't look good, but I'm beginning to get optimistic. Perhaps we can be the answer to a trivia question...

Isn't that the nature of a full season, you know, win some, lose some, draw some?

I think Monty, that it's last place at christmas. Only West Brom have escaped relegation after being last at crimbo.
