Re: Season Tickets 2012-13
They were sent out early so we could take up the 10 month direct debit scheme, clearly.
Pisses me off that people moan about it '369 for championship football' bla bla. Who gives a shit if it is? If we go down then feck off to some other prem club, I'll still be a Bolton fan. Plus it'll still be one of the cheaper ones in champ, unlike Leeds etc.

I'll be having one if we go down, but not if we stay up. It's a dilemma which is giving me much pause for thought.

Re: Season Tickets 2012-13
whats the thinking behind that?
Re: Season Tickets 2012-13
I hate Premiership football, the fact that it's a league for an elite few in which no one outside of the top 2, possibly 3, can even hope to compete. Championship football on the other hand, I love. The chance to go to any match home or away knowing you can compete on some level and win floats my proverbial boat.

But we'd be competing to get back into the premier league and get beaten by all these super rich teams againBijou Bob wrote:I hate Premiership football, the fact that it's a league for an elite few in which no one outside of the top 2, possibly 3, can even hope to compete. hmmm... but in that league - with parachute payments - we'd be amongst the rich bastards!!!
Re: Season Tickets 2012-13
And, as adamworthy says, what would we be competing for if not to return to the Premiership you so detest? I'm afraid your argument doesn't add up.
Re: Season Tickets 2012-13
It adds up perfectly for me. I'm happy to bounce between the two having a ST whenever we are in the Championship and celebrating our success if we get there. I do think however, we will struggle to get out if we go down. I can live with that.

I'll admit it.
I'd rather watch Bolton in the Premierleague.
I'd still go to see them in the championship but still I'd rather be watching premierleague football.

If you paid through direct debit last year then unless you cancelled before April 1st then your ticket has been auto renewed!truewhite15 wrote:Eh? Well, I paid through my debit card, but only as a one off at the start of the season, all in one go...does the auto-renew still apply then??BWFC_Insane wrote:If you paid through direct debit last year then unless you cancelled before April 1st then your ticket has been auto renewed!truewhite15 wrote:Eh? No. Only applies if you paid by direct debit last year.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Season Tickets 2012-13
Made my mind up this morning that I was renewing this evening whatever happened so I've just done that. The club tell me I've just bought tickets for the Barclays Premier League. Do you want to tell them or shall I?
